    *********************************** 2011 Fusion. Date of Transaction: Jan10-19,24 Money Paid: $179 Diagnostic Fee / Incurred an additional $100 towing bill to have car taken somewhere else. The business committed to provide: Accurate diagnostic of the car problem (steering) Nature of the dispute: The dealership lied about many aspects from warranty to what happened to the car while in their possession. Dealership shifted blame instead of admitting they did something wrong (lied about warranty, about belt, about taking codes off the car.Description: on 1/9:On a recorded line, per the dealership, I called the dealership and spoke to ******************************* a service advisor with ****. Explained the steering is not working and I realize it is electric. I wanted to know if the steering was re-called? He looked up my car in his records and confirmed it was the 2011 **** Fusion and VIN. Stated there were no re-calls, however, there was a consumer extended warranty for some components of the steering, but could not promise that is what is wrong until I bring the car in. I did confirm that it would still be under this warranty even though it was a 2011 and had 130K miles. ***** the car arrived at the dealership, I was told that the entire ************* had to be replaced. 2 days later I was told the serpentine belt was off and sitting on the motor. I told him the belt had been replaced by PepBoys months earlier (8/2022) He said they never put it on the car and we had been driving w/o a belt, there maybe other ********** should get w/them. No way we have been driving the car for 18 months w/o a belt. He also said it was the original **** belt and emailed me pic. The belt is a Gates (another lie). The car had plugs & new battery put in at the ******* (6/2023) months after the belt was replace. He would not own up to someone took that belt off after it reached the dealership and still said that Pepboys never put the belt on, even thou plugs, battery and oil changes had been done there since.

    This dealership does not check their cars thoroughly therefore now I'm being blamed for an aftermarket module on my car and I've only had it for maybe a month and no one wants to take responsibility for selling me a car with aftermarket pieces that could have easily been to detected through a fool inspection
