      It was the most frustrating cell phone company I have ever had. I requested a refund because I switched to a different cell provider. They granted me the refund gave me the refund. It was processed and put in my account. I went to use my credit card. and guess what? It was declined because Tello was taking another payment out. I got really frustrated. Talk to three or four people and they all said something different. I sent them screenshots of my account. I sent them screenshots of my chat history with them. they dont understand it. If I could give it zero stars I would! The staff was very disrespectful treating me like I was stupid even though I have all the actual evidence. I changed to a different cell phone company and boom just like that. Everything works like a pro. Dont waste your time or your money on Tello. Its not even worth the $14.27 a month. Dont go here find something different.!

      I bought Tello's Apple SE 2nd generation (2021) phone in June 2023 a refurbished phone and it has cut off a number of times during conversations on some important calls. It gave me much pain and frustration always trying to find the phone green icon often sometimes not getting on the screen for over an hour of trying various things. After 5 to 6 months in December of 2023 it would no longer charge using various wall socket power outlets and I checked the connection cable and not only that it would no longer ever turn on at all. Feel like whoever refurbished did not try to do a good job and I was always having to charge it all the time plus it never did ship to me with a cable to connect to my apple computer which should have been in the box. BBB has a "B" rating for Tello and only a 2 out of 5 customer satisfaction.       **************** is absolutely terrible. ****, specifically was very rude and could care less if he helped to resolve the issue. He even ended the chat while I was responding. Leaving and will never come back. I guess cheap service = cheap customer service.

      Ever ********************** I've had in my life I've orderd a new tello service and activated it in website and inserted *** in my unlocked phone and the *** isn't recognized. I contacted customer care and they requested IMEI number which i gave and they tell it may be locked, but its unlocked and i using from last two years, they asked to test it in another unlocked phone, i did that its not workin either thay say its a phone problem, LOL all other **** are working in the phones not just TELLO, and then they suggest me order a new SIm and they want to charge for SIm and shipping, basically TELLO is expecting customer to pay for their defective product replacement, what a BUSINEES Practice. they need to learn how to serve customers rather than shipping defective products.

The required frequency bands for Tello are Band 2, Band 4, Band 12, and Band 71, making a *** replacement ineffective in resolving the problem.We also advised you to verify the lock status of both devices, as this is a common issue that can hinder a proper connection. Contrary to suggesting a new *** purchase, you expressed a desire for a replacement, and we provided guidance on the replacement process.At present, you opted to cancel the service and requested a refund. Initially, we refunded the plan cost, and now, as a gesture of goodwill, we have extended the refund to cover the *** card as well.We value the customer's interest in our service, and every piece of feedback is crucial for enhancing our customer support, which remains a top priority for Tello.Thank you for choosing Tello.

      Ok so we've only been with Tello for 3 days. And for those 3 days, no complaints! We wanted a low cost data plan since my wife and I have been sharing a 1 gig plan with Xfinity for 4 years. We like the fact we were able to choose a different plan for each line all on one account. We both started out with low data plans (5gb) with me getting 300 talk minutes and her getting unlimited minutes. The total cost is 36 bucks a month! Great! Everything has been perfect for our 3 days. Fast texting and clear voice calls. We're looking for a long relationship with Tello. Having choices with your plan and no contract is the way to go!       I had some problems with my service suddenly going out. After calling multiple times and following a representative's directions to restart my phone over and over (and also being told to just use wifi calling since my phone itself wasn't working, which I felt was ridiculous since I was paying for service), I finally got a representative who said that a tower was out in my area. She could not inform me when the tower would be repaired, but she assured me that she was writing a ticket, that I would get an email from Tello once the tower was back in service, and that I would get a refund for the time service was unavailable. Fast-forward a number of months, and I still do not have service, nor have I been contacted. I initiated a chat and asked for a refund starting from the time service went out and was told that refunds can only be made for up to three months. When I gave details about the phone call I had made, the person I had spoken with, and the assurance I was given of a complete refund for time service was unavailable (which was why I had been patient), I was told that company policy is that refunds can only be made for three months. There was no looking into the situation or details I had given and no apology for a representative giving me information that was faulty. I acted on good faith based on the assurance from the rep that I would be issued a full refund if I gave the company a chance to reinstate service. When dealing with Tello, I do not recommend calling because documentation of calls was disregarded, even with name, date, and time of call (which should have been recorded by the call center along with documentation of steps taken).

      We had nothing but trouble with Tello and ended up cancelling our plan within 3 weeks of being connected to their service. When we entered our address to check for coverage in our area, the result was, *********** looks like you'll have coverage at this address." In reality, the signal at our address was very weak - it was weak everywhere we went. We use our phones for our jobs and we're not able to make and receive calls as needed. There were delays with texting and Wi-Fi calling didn't work well. We had both of our phone numbers ported in. One of the phone lines reverted back to the number that was assigned by Tello when we signed up. Also on that line, calling was completely dropped after a couple of days. They made us sign up for a new plan. Things didn't get better after that. Because we were with Tello for less than one billing cycle, and because the coverage in our area turned out to be little to none after we were told there was coverage, we asked for our money back. Tello refused. They dropped attempts at online chats regarding this, and the supervisor I spoke to was rude and defiant.

      Make sure they cover your area well before hand (Pink Carrier), but otherwise in terms of as an MVNO they are fantastic. Fast shipping for the *** and it's pretty much all self-service. I'd love to see them expand to Red/Blue carriers in the future, but even if not they're still good as they are.
