On Jan **, 2024, I received a quote for *** and ceramic coating for my Genesis ***** from *** *******. I requested *** (full front, hood, bumper, mirrors, headlights, and roof A strip). I was provided a quote on the same day of $***** for the *** and $*** for the ceramic coating, before taxes. I made an appointment for February **. I dropped off my car at 8am and was advised at 5pm that all the work was done & my car was ready for pick up. I texted the owner & asked if I was able to pay by credit card to which he replied 'yes'. I picked up my car at approximately ***** and paid for the work that was done in full. As it was late in the day, it was extremely dark outside & I was unable to review the work that had been done. However, after further inspecting the work in my garage, I noticed a number of deficiencies in the work and called the owner on February 21 to explain my concerns. He advised me to bring my car in for him to correct the issues. I brought my car in as instructed. He brought it to the back of the shop and promptly returned it to the front within approximately ** minutes and told me that "he was done". I pointed out specific areas that he had not corrected and he told me "that's just how it looks". Following this appointment, I identified further issues with the *** and sent him a text along with pics supporting my concerns on March **. I made an appointment to bring it back on April * which he cancelled; I rescheduled for April ** where I had the same experience as March **. Based on his body language and tone, it was evident that he did not want to engage any further so I left his establishment. I have since brought my car to another professional installer and they have confirmed what I have been telling *** ******* all along; the *** was poorly installed. It is riddled with bubbles & certain sections of my car are not complete covered with the *** leaving them exposed. He also charged me a credit surcharge without first advising me.
