I needed a repair done at my home, so I called and had a service tech come out. He ordered parts, and after waiting two weeks on parts, we figured out how to fix the issue ourselves. However, in order to order parts, 30% was collected up front in the amount of $1,993.85. We have called repeatedly in an effort to get our money back, and we are told a manager needs to call us back to receive a refund, but no manager ever calls. When we ask for his number, ******* will not provide it. When we ask for his supervisors contact information, ******* says he is the only boss.Review from Taylor M

They disconnected my air filter and left it laying on the ground. I have called over and over but they won’t give me an invoice so I can make a claim with insurance. I already have the approval from insurance. I just need my invoice. They won’t mail or email it to me.Review from Shantikia D

I have been with this company for almost 10 years and the customer service is HORRIBLE. I've been calling for filters since July. Finally I was able to reach a manager (3.5 months later) for her to tell me their waiting on payment since July !!! WHATTTT... I've been calling for months. Poor management, horrible communication. I've spent thousands of dollars with this company to get this kind of disrespect and service. I will NOT recommend this company to anyone !!Review from Marlon M

We went out for the weekend, came back to my garage and living room, full of water, our AC is less then 3 years old and has 2 shut off valves, call them they came the smartest tech that I’ve ever in counter tells me that the shut off valves works, but he has to charge me other $177, or $200 for a year maintenance plan, well Mr, idiot tech if the shit off valves worked my AC would have turned off, and you crooks still want to charge me,, for the shut off valves that you installed, and wanna charge me, shame on you, my AC, is under warranty and you still ripping people off.Review from John D

Total ripoff. I paid $12,724 for a new, 3-ton heat pump. To be fair, that included installation, a 10-year warranty, removal and disposal of the old unit and a few other things. But I don't know what that all costs. In fact, I don't even know what the HEAT PUMP cost. So I Iooked up the model number and you can buy the same one for $2,267. I didn't get an itemized bill. I didn't even get an invoice until I called. I did talk to the manager. I asked her how much the unit cost them, she wouldn't say because they buy in bulk. So I've learned my lesson. Get an itemized bill first. I feel like such an idiot. Live and learn. And pay through the nose. I'd really like to know what cost me that $10 grand. I feel totally violated.Review from Cory F

I have been a customer with you guys for a long time. And within the past 3 years every summer something always happens to our unit where the compressor will not kick on and the fan does not work but you can still feel the blower blowing air through the vents. Had techs out multiple times and everytime asked techs can not figure it out. We have asked for service manager call still waiting on a call from one.Review from James T

Potentially deceptive pricing started with the installation and now continues with maintenance packages. In June, 2022, I contacted One Hour A/C to service a 12-year-old Rheem system. The tech who shows up presented a credible plan to replace the unit; total cost I was told was $12,000. After the work began, and after the old unit was dismantled and in pieces on my driveway, the price began to increase in $500 and $1000 increments. Each time I was assured that was a full, final price. It ended up at $17,000. I was also assured that the new unit was covered with a 10 year warranty and "years" of routine maintenance. In less than a year the unit developed problems which were serviced without change, and I was reminded that my maintenance coverage would apply if the issue recurred. In July, 2023, I received an email advising the the maintenance had expired and could be renewed for $199. When I called to question that I was assured that the maintenance was only for one year but needed to be paid for annually in order for the warranty to be in effect.. I was given a choice of the $199 maintenance plan which includes 2 checkups or an annual single maintenance at $139; one or the other is required if I expect the warranty to be valid. So a !7,000 price for a unit that ran less then a year and will not be covered by any warranty unless I pay additional charges annually. The 2-star rating is because the unit was serviced promptly and without charge in June.Review from YAN Z

I am filing a complaint against One Hour Cooling and Heating for a leaking HVAC coil because of installation error. My AC coil/TVX was installed by this company three years ago. When the coil was installed, the copper inlet pipe was arranged directly contacting the aluminum coil pipe that is specifically prohibited in the installation guide because of bimetallic corrosion. As a result, a rust hole formed on the spot where copper pipe and aluminum pipe touched each other. Normally an AC coil will not corrode so fast. My other two AC units have run 22 years without any corrosion issue. I contacted the company and was asked to pay $99 first before a checkup. From my experience with their service, I am not surprised by this additional mistake. When the coil was installed for the first time, their technicians forgot to install the TXV. Then by adding and removing refrigerant back and forth, there was still no cooling. Finally, they found the TXV was missing. The coil/TXV was reinstalled with the latent failure as mentioned above. That was not the end. Half an hour after the technicians left, the AC stopped running completely because the compression pressure reached the maximum pressure limit. Another technician came to remove 3.5 lb. refrigerant to make the AC run again. I still have the corroded coil, all records and pictures of the repair.Review from Carolyn R

This company installed a unit for my fiance 5 years ago. There is still 5 years left on the warranty. The unit has been serviced 4 times already. One hour refuses to service the unit again. They sent him a text, didn't have the decency to call, but texted him, refusing to service the unit. The text also included another person, which was rude. I had to call 4 times before I received a return call. When I did receive a return call, the gentleman on the other end attempted to blame my friend for the nonfunctioning unit. They stated that it was extensive water damage, but the damage was a DIRECT result of them not installing the unit properly. My fiance is STILL paying for the faulty unit & just had to pay a REPUTABLE, company to install a completely new unit!Review from Yvonne T

Company recommended unnecessary updates and a membership to save money. Membership ended up being worthless and a waste of money. When AC went out they told me it needed way more repairs then it did and tried to sell me a $12000 plus replacement unit. Ended up costing $200 for a capacitor by a reputable company. Don't use one hour AC ! Either they are lying salesman or they don't know what they're doing.
