              I have had to file numerous disputes with credit reporting agencies over the last year plus due to Okinus misreporting my balance owed to credit agencies. Despite these numerous disputes they continue to misreport - impacting my credit score and disregarding my requests for resolution both directly with them and with the credit agencies. Last month they reported I still owed $1,627 when it was closer to about $300. I made a final payment of $177 today and am not confident they will update anything to show that this account has been fully paid off. While I believe you get what you get with high interest predatory companies like Okinus, I do think that it is extremely negligible business practice to misreport the amounts paid as they have.

              Okinus is terrible! From the first initial monthly payment I have had issues with Okinus. The first month they withdrew 4x times the amount that they were suppose to withdrawal and they claimed it was a glitch in their system and refused to return the money. The same thing happened on month 2. After that month after month their system would not take my payment. Now after the account has passed the 0% time they have contacted me saying I owe over $12k when I only owe $3,200. I cannot afford paying the $12k and besides after all the issues month after month that prevented me to pay I shouldn't be help responsible passing the 0% interest time. Their team members are rude and not helpful. Stay away from using Okinus.

              Okinus did have a computer glitch that caused Okinus to take **. *******s’ payment 3 times. One payment was a regular payment and then Okinus system processed 2 extra payments. Okinus was going refund that payment back to **. ******* but **. ******* done a stop payment at his bank. The reason the system stopped taking **. *******’s payment is because **. ******* did a stop payment on his checking account. Okinus had **. ******* contact his bank and get the stop payment lifted. **. ******* had the option to take advantage of the 120 day buyout, however, **. ******* did not pay the account out by the 120 day buyout date which ended on 1/18/24. **. *******’s account is delinquent at this time. Okinus did offer **. ******* a payoff of $3,232.88 with that payoff being made by 4/12/24. **. ******* agreed to that payoff. If **. ******* will contact Okinus, we will be glad to come to a resolution on his account. Okinus can be reached at 800-472-1334.
