    I am writing concerning my 1966 **** Thunderbird, VIN: 6Y81Q124535 Details:Vehicle was dropped off in the spring for work that needed to be done to the vehicle. Repairs included power windows, air conditioning, and brake lights, of which I purchased products/parts from a third party and provided to the shop. Provided parts list and documentation can be provided, if requested. Since calling numerous times in July-August, and leaving a message, with no return, I stopped in on 4 Aug 2023. When I stopped in I requested an update to the work on my car and timeline for completion. The front desk said they were calling the mechanic and left the room. They then returned and said my car had been damaged while in their care and that Payes would cover the repair for it. I asked to see the car and was told the car was at an auto body shop. The front desk worker stated that the manager would give me a call on Monday the 7th of August to discuss everything. I have received no call from the manager to date. On Wednesday, August 9th, I called your shop again and was told by the representative that the vehicle is still being worked on and it would be another week. I requested pictures on the call and the front desk worker stated they would reach out to the body shop and have them get in touch with me. To date, no one has called and no pictures were sent.I entrusted my vehicle to Payes Automotive with the anticipation of having necessary repairs completed professionally and efficiently. However, my experience thus far has been marred by a lack of transparency, communication breakdowns, and unforeseen damages to my vehicle while under your care. Such setbacks not only have caused me great distress but also have jeopardized my intentions to sell the vehicle in its best possible condition. The combined effect of this unsatisfactory service and the unexpected damages has disrupted my plans and diminished the value of a car I had carefully maintained for potential sale.

    I brought my truck in because it was over heating 10 months ago for a check engine light. I was told it was fixed and it came back on followed by over heating and cylinder miss fires. The truck was returned to me several times and kept having the same problems so I had it towed back several times. Eventually they wanted $5500 for a blown head gasket. I was able to talk them down and while fixing it they came up with 3 more major issues they said needed expensive repairs. One being a new radiator which was not leaking when brought in. They have one mechanic **** that I said I never wanted him touching my truck again. He did the most recent work after I told them that. Summed uprepairs were rarely done right with them adding thousands in other repairs. I spent countless hours stranded on the side of the road waiting for tow trucks.
