I purchased an extended warranty for road hazard insurance with First Innovations when I refinanced my car with ************ of *****. I suffered a cracked rim and went above and beyond to get two different opinions on whether the wheel could be repaired or if it had to be replaced. Both physical inspections of the wheel said the wheel needed to be replaced and COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. First Innovations first tried to get me to use an unlicensed, uninsured person to do the work (a single shingle guy who didnt even have a legitimate business license in ***** - Yes, I actually looked it up). Then, they offered me a token $100 to take care of the repair if I didnt want to use their joke of a solution. WTF? Clearly they are trying to abscond their responsibility and not pay out on the claim! Im furious. What is worse is that the people who are actually handling the claims are incredibly incompetent. Its like they hire really dumb people to just say no to everything, despite professional opinions telling them what work needs to be done to fix the car! I am working with ************ of Texas to try and resolve this, and have already contacted a lawyer about their inability to perform under their obligations written in the contract. These guys run a business centered around taking advantage of unsophisticated customers. Do not sign up for their coverage unless you want to flush money down the toilet. TOTAL FRAUD.
