I had great luck using Uship. I put in an online offer to have my boat shipped from ************* to *******. I got at least a dozen offers. Uship had all the ratings of the transport companies, which enabled me to narrow the field. I paid on the Uship website, I got a code from them and gave it to the driver when my boat arrived. It was really easy!

Everything was handled as I was hoping it would be! The driver was great at staying in touch with us, called to ask to hold up a night or so because of high winds and of course pulling our camper we were ok with that ! I would defiantly use them again and ask for the same driver if possible!

If you enjoy the circus with football bats and clown shoes, then you will enjoy working with Uship and SGT **** Transport, as this is all they provide youa three-ring circus with endless hours on the phone, emails, and live chat attempting to get the order correct and finding ways to overcharge you. In my case the partner company SGT **** Transport, should rename their company properly to SGT ***** with a Twist of Bait and Switch Transport as Uship sets you up for the fraud, SGT **** Transport finishes you off by holding you and your car hostage until they get an extra 43% CASH fee from you. I agreed to $595.10 ($541.00 to ship car UShip charges 10% or $54.10) of which $54.10 is a service fee from Uship, which is NOT disclosed until you sign the contract. I contacted Uship to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with their service; they sent back a robot email: We are sorry to hear about the experience with this shipment. Though uShip is a neutral third party that connects consumers with independent carriers, we always try to assist when issues arise. They could care about you, your shipment, or the fraudulent way they and SGT **** Transport do business. Sad because their delivery driver was great, caring, and a pleasure to deal with on the delivery day, even after all of the headaches, hassles, and fraud.
