      I took my 2007 ********** Touareg to Aztek Auto Repair for service around April 25th, 2022 regarding a warning light that appeared on the vehicle. On May 6th 2022, my wife arrived to pick up the vehicle after service. She was asked to pay $900.41 for the service and to collect the vehicle. Upon starting the vehicle, my wife noticed the warning light intended to be serviced was still displayed on the vehicle's dashboard. She was asked to leave the vehicle for further service. Some time passed and a rep. of ******************** auto called me to inform me my vehicle no longer started or ran after being serviced. This was a shock to me as the vehicle did not have this issue before the service. After this call, communication with the shop was very minimal. I would call multiple times a week for updates in regards to my vehicle and would rarely get an answer or call back. If they were to communicate with me, the shop's rep. would vaguely update me on the matter but would ask if I wanted to pick up the vehicle as is. I declined to pick up the vehicle as it is no longer functional due to actions committed by the shop. Sometime later, ******************** Auto relayed to me that they had taken the vehicle to another shop for service, but they too were unsuccessful at resolving the issue and potentially made the issue worse as stated by the rep. ******************** Auto said they had no choice but to take the vehicle to a ********** dealership in an attempt to resolve the issue. After some time, they would no longer fund the service being conducted by the ********** dealership and would instead continue to attempt to resolve the issue themselves. I asked if they would be willing to purchase the vehicle from me as a way to settle the matter since they have had the vehicle for months with no resolution. The shop owner declined my offer and insists on fixing it but have yet to see any changes as of Nov. 29th 2022. I need my vehicle for my family but the shop has neglected to properly service my vehicle for months.

      9/28/2023 I took my vehicle to Aztek for a simple Diagnostic check. I was told by *****************************, the mechanic, that it would take 2 hours and to wait for his call. I waited 3 hours before calling the shop to inquire about my vehicle. I was placed on hold and then transferred to voicemail. I called once again for the same to occur. By this point I became concerned about my vehicle so I headed for the shop. Upon arriving, I was told to wait ***** min. I waited for half an hour with no update. so I proceeded to the rear of the business and found that my car was disassembled. I was told by ***************************** some of the diagnostic readings. I told him to give me my vehicle because I was concerned about the sheer amount of time this was taking. He then told me to wait outside the business; I subsequently waited another half hour despite consistently asking how much longer and constantly being told "10 more minutes". I proceeded inside and discovered nobody was working on my vehicle and that the vehicle's map sensor was missing. ***** Returned and told me that the map sensor was lost. We began to argue regarding the bad service, and since it was getting late I told him I would return the next morning around 9am.The next morning at 10:27am ***************************** called, stating that the vehicle was ready, the map sensor was replaced, and that my old one was in the front seat of the vehicle. I headed to the shop and spoke to the manager. I began to tell him about the bad service and he claimed that my previous behavior was uncalled for. I pointed at ***** and stated that he was a liar when it came to his service. He became angry and was told by the owner to just leave. Upon being given my keys, I immediately looked for my map sensor and could not find it. I called the manager over and he could not find it either. I once again told him this was bad service, and he went inside the Automotive shop to find my original map sensor, stating I was lucky to even get the replacement.

      The customer is correct, we failed to communicate with him and did misplace his sensor. We replaced his sensor with an original part and also return his sensor. We apologize for our errors.
