I purchased a platform bed to place a mattress on top. The entire platform caved in splintered and was not reparable. It was a total waste of money. I emailed the owner Alex and never received a response. I spoke with his assistant Manager, Brian, and he was rude and basically told me there was nothing he could do about his cheap furniture that fell apart. Please proceed with caution when purchasing anything from the store. They don't stand behind their furniture and they are rude in their correspondenceReview from Annie B

I think for what we paid for cabnits, the quality of assembly of the cabnits is not good face frames do not align with cabinet. What they consider dove tail construction, i have never seen before. I've been installing cabnits my whole life, and I understand things have changed. But to market it as one thing and get something else. Doesn't sit well. I would say, beware. For what they charge. I purchased a recliner and a love seat recliner and filed dispute within six weeks because both were coming apart I got my money back from the finance company, I filed a complaint with the Attorney General. I paid the taxes on a different card and had to file another dispute because they refused to return my money even though they had their furniture back,I told them it's illegal not to return taxes on returned merchandise and the salesman Chris got really nasty,but my credit card company got the money back from their bank, don't do business with them, the merchandise is garbage.Review from Kevin K

Horrible product, Horrible customer. Purchased lift chair for elderly relative. Broke after two months, came out to fix it with a week but did not have the parts to fix it. Chair broke September 14th and parts where supposed to arrive on October 23rd. Called repeatedly and was told the parts won't be in till December 19th. If they come in then it will take a quarter of a year to get the chair fixed. Have called twice to speak with the manager. Manager is never available and refuses to call back. We purchased cabinets from NEFD in October of 2020. We were hesitant, frankly the discount prices made us weary we were losing quality. Not only quality of product but quality of customer service. Shamus, our salesperson, assured us OVER and OVER about how they back the product they sell. If there are ever any issues that they will send someone out, " free of charge, because we believe in our product". After looking at the cabinets and seeing everything up close we felt much more comfortable and didn't feel we were sacrificing any quality. Three years later I am here hoping people will listen. These cabinets have done nothing but break, look off center/crooked, need to be realigned, cabinet hardware just snaps off. Literally standing in our kitchen last week a drawer holding silverware, that's it, just had the railing hardware snap off. Shamus who promised us the world, didn't know 3 years later NEFD will charge a "service fee" of 129.00 to "install" the new product. Here in lies the argument. I would say they are "fixing" their product, my contractor "installed" the cabinets. This is a REPAIR not an INSTALL. But, when they call it an instillation that verbiage allows them to say we have always said we do not "install" our product, we only sell and deliver. Second rate company twisting words like a cheap car salesmen so they don't have to truly back their product. 129.00 for someone to come out and REPAIR NOT INSTALL new cabinet hardware. I understand COVID has had ill effects on companies. This is not a supply or delivery issue, this is not a staffing issue. This is NEFD using the pandemic and play on words to treat their customers poorly. Do you think they ever wonder why there are so many complaints on this BBB website about them? Dealing with this company is not worth the few dollars you will save.Review from Karin S

We ordered furniture from Northeast Factory Direct in October 2022. The furniture arrived on schedule. Delivery was not smooth. Two people delivered the furniture, it was too heavy for only two people, really could have used a third person. Fabric was ripped during delivery. The couch has been broken from day one. They did not offer to take back the couch. We called right away for repair. The technician came right away and repaired the ripped fabric but would have to order parts for the broken part of couch. It is March 2023 and we are still waiting on repair. I have called several times. I have a log of each time I have called. The part has been delivered. Still no call from technician; no updates. Apparently now there is another part that is being ordered. Not sure why they weren't aware of this a week ago when I called. Still waiting on repair of our brand new couch; can't use it; poor communication from customer service.Review from Danielle T

Defective recliner couch they have been out to repair 3 times and owner wanted to send out again! He did not want to replace it and it was all within the first 3 months of having the furniture! I purchased the warranty insurance and they even tried to do an intervention reaching out to the store office to help resolve—to no avail! By the way, the staff has poor customer service! They do not follow up with you. They had to order parts in and when you call back the product is not in, the manager did not order, blah blah blah. After a substantial amount of time passes, I call back and then they say, “oh we were just getting ready to call you, the part just came in today”! Of course it did—not! Finally, delivery times are poor! It took over a month to get this furniture into my home, AND, they had the product in the store. They were not waiting for shipments! At this point, I just want me money returned. I would not chance getting a store credit to continue with this poor service and poor products! DO NOT SHOP HERE! And I am going to email ***** **** ** **** because he endorses this company. I can only assume that he is not aware of people bad experiences!Review from James S

My wife purchased a King size bed and three days from the date of delivery we noticed bed bugs after contacting a professional exterminator we were told they were nesting inside the bed. We have been living in our house for ten years and never had a issue with bed bugs. After contacting the company they refused to come and get the bed and give us another one in exchange. I have sent several reviews on their company's google page and has received no response. My wife and I are considering taking legal actions against this company because we are out of a large sum of money and not able to sleep in the bed. Please Advise!
