              I've been waiting over 3 weeks for a response to my email to Garnet Hill "customer service" (doesn't deserve that name) about a defective (weird stains; bad stitching) product I received. Nothing. Followed up with a second email 2 weeks after that. Nothing. You shouldn't be in business if you can't provide even the most basic customer service to those who purchase from you (i.e. answering customer emails).

              Placed an order on May 22. It is now June 12 and the website says backordered. When I placed the order, nothing was mentioned regarding backorder. Wrote an email last week. No reply. Phoned today and after 15 min. wait, my call was answered. She was not one bit apologetic. She told me it was shipped today. Website still says backordered. Cannot reach someone in corporate office. Horrible customer service!

              I have been waiting 6 weeks for a refund. Every time I call it’s like starting over again. Although I called customer service yesterday, I was transferred to the shipping department. They told me that the calls go to them when it’s busy, but they can’t help me. I hate to have to even give one star. Shameful.

              After mailing my purchase to wrong address… I calked…( nothing from then) And finally I followed track # myself I asked fir reimbursement of 9.95 fir mailing to my (dress )!t I’m my current address. I have calked 7 times fir resolution and … same message “ at present time many callers please call back” I am dissatisfied with Garnet Hill .. wiki not purchase again.. will advise my daughter.. who bought ALOT not the buy from them Again. ***** ***********

              I'm not happy with your service. I ordered pants yesterday with 30 percent off. The order went through. This morning I received an email that said my order was canceled. I didn't cancel it. On your website the pants in my size are still available in the pattern I ordered but now at full price. That's not good.

              As a longtime customer of Garnet Hill, I was surprised to have a two "bait-and-switch" type experiences while trying to take advantage of a post-holiday sale. First, the website promoted towels as on sale. When I clicked on that item and chose a color, some were no longer available, not surprisingly, but I found a suitable choice among the many others offered, picked a quantity and put it in my cart along with other items. When I went to check out, I could not get the sale price to appear, so I called and learned that only one color was on sale, and it was, frankly, ugly. Why wouldn't that be clearly marked? Because why would you even look at the item if it was unattractive? Instead you waste time, make a choice, feel like you've scored a deal, experience the disappointment of feeling duped, then make yourself feel better by just buying the thing anyway. Psychology 101. BAIT AND SWITCH While I was buying the actual sale items I still wanted, the most important one suddenly disappeared from my cart. Garnet Hill doesn't tell you that an item in your cart can be removed if you don't race to the finish line. Nowhere on the site does it indicate this. Why? Because then you'd just zip in, quickly make your purchase and be done as opposed to spending 45 minutes shopping for other attractive items that aren't actually what they appear to be. Garnet Hill's willingness to engage in bait-and-switch tactics like this may be legal, but it's not a reputable practice. It verges on FRAUD. BUYER BEWARE [Update: Within 30 minutes of speaking to a GH supervisor about this, the sale website was reorganized to show the accurate item on sale. Which proves my point.]

              Deceptive online reviews. Their "signature flannel sheets" were 6.2 oz and had good reviews. About 2 years ago they changed to 6.03 oz. Kept the name but significantly cheapened the product. There is a big difference as you can see from old vs new reviews. But they haven't taken the old reviews off. And they only allow one review per customer. So my old (good review) potential customers read as applying to the cheaper (by quality) sheets. And I can't change the review or add a new one.

              I purchased a pair of the salt washed chinos two weeks ago. They were wrapped in plastic. I tried them on before washing the pants. When I removed them a dirty sock fell out of the pants 😩😩😩. I have been purchasing cloths from this online company for the last ten years. Never had a problem. I called customer service and spoke to someone that said I would be called. No call. No apology. I am totally disgusted. So grossed out. Please take warning of this review. Look at the cloths before trying them on.
