After many of years of loyal service to FCP Euro the very first return i made was rejected and was not issued store credit toward another A/C compressor.I realized i ordered the wrong compressor Part# NSN-****** the second i opened the box and saw the pulley on the compressor took a 7pk belt [more ribs] and mine takes the 4pk belt[less ribs] I knew it was wrong I did not even remove compressor from the box,i taped it up and realized i had to eat the shipping cost back to FCP for my error and wanted credit toward the purchase of this compressor ***********.I received a e-mail from Art.S from FCP stating the compressor had been installed on the vehicle and cannot accept my return and refused to credit the 305.99 toward the purchase of the correct compressor,My fiancé can attest to me not installing as she was there when i opened it and she is the primary driver of the **,i sent it back the next day.I was also a *** master tech for 25 years and can show credentials for this as well.The first thing i check is correct part,he claims it was installed and i went back and forth with some customer service reps who seemed like they were willing to help but in the end there was none.I feel anyone in the auto industry could look at this part and agree it was never put on.They told me they could discard it or send it back to me for the cost of shipping label.I was blown away by this,i said to customer service that if it does not meet your return expectations how did it meet your shipping to customer quality check.I ended up buying one locally and one of the reasons he failed my return was a bent shim,which is supposed to be like that so it can clear the provisions by the watrer pump and block,the *** one that came off had the bent shim also.I can prove all of this with numerous photos but they seem to not wanna here it,longtime loyal customer too and my first return ever was just a nightmare
