Absolutely an awful company, truly don’t even know where to begin. They installed a brand new HVAC unit in my house of August 2022, costing 9600$. In February 2023, when we had a very cold weekend in Connecticut, my brand new system not even six months old. Completely failed and stopped working. My house got down to 48° nearly causing a pipe to burst. They sent out their employee, Jim Ferroni. Jim came out and said that a secondary heat source should’ve been installed when they put my unit in and they made a mistake. He said to me they will send some one out immediately to get my system running properly. That never happened. I’ve been speaking to a manager named Dave. They want me to pay $400 for the part that should’ve been installed when I first got my unit. I told him absolutely not. Why should I have to pay for their mistake? Long story short, I’m taking them to small claims court. Stay far far away from this company, they do bad business, have zero morals or decency, and screwed me over since the first day they stepped foot in my house.Review from Carole P.

This was the worst company, I have ever delt with! Total scam, Bait & Switch Salesman Greg would give me Business card, didnt have any he said?. I told him I needed cast iron pipe replace, I would do PVC pipe myself..I have done many. I was supose to be a evaluation not doing the work, I had more guys the next week for bids. His two guys barged into my house the next morning, the small guy Zak ran up stairs. I asked the big guy Nick why is he up stairs? He said he was evaluating, and then gave a creepy laugh. I run up stair after Zak, and he was going through my stuff! I asked him to leave. He did but came back a little while later. Then the big guy Nick, was cutting the pipe of PVC piping. I told him to stop and leave, but he said NO Greg had my signature, which he didnt! I called Greg 4 times, 2 text, 1 email, with no response. Nick demanded a check at the end of it for $1,800.00 the qoute of the cast iron job.Which they didnt do! They did the PVC pipes. Nick took a pic of check in my driveway, Then Greg sends me a text saying I paid the wrong amount. He will send me a new bill, then signed my signature on it!!! And then he asked for my visa information in a text, for his files for any furture pluming jobs. Are you freaking kidding me! I have camera, all over my house I heard Zak say to Nick as they were leaving, we should leave her basement window unlock and rob her while she is sleeping! Nick said no I already went through all her stuff, she doesnt have anything! She even had a VHS tape in her draw, lol. Zak said tools, he said no they're old.lol I did have a VHS tape in a draw, my friend died of cancer, I was watching her wedding tape. So, I went through my stuff and there was stuff missing! I stopped payment on the check.About 5 months later Greg sends me a check for the differents of $500.00, I gave them the $500,00 back. I think because I am 64 years old he thought he could take avantage of me.I dont want them to do it to another.Review from Karen P

Bantam Wesson delivered oil to my house despite a hold (do not deliver unless I call) placed. Now they want $6/gal when I was getting oil for much less. They acknowledged they made a mistake but still want their money. Bantam - come & take your unordered oil back!!!Review from Ed T

Long time Bantam oil/gas customer. Today I was on hold for over thirty-five minutes with no pickup. Stay away from them. They’re great at sending out bills (even when somethings under warranty, we caught them and they reversed the charge) but useless when you attempt to reach them. An hour after I left a voice mail and still, no response.Review from FRANCIS B

I have been a customer for years at Bantam Wesson every year I pre buy this year no different except I pre buy at 2.429 and contract ends 4-30-22 and I have a balance of 900 dollars as of today well today 6-2-22 they deliver propane summer weather and put in 49.2 gallons and because contract ended and I have a balance they decided to charge me 5.079 per gallon or 249.89 what a rip off, they said I had to call to stop delivery I had in past years this is not the first time, I got ripped off legally what a company buyer beware. sincerely ******* **********Review from cindy c

I reached out to this company to discuss a quote contract (I can provide the name of the sales person and her contact information) They did a credit check, which I agreed to but soon a after I received a better offer from another oil company. I NEVER received a contract from Bantam Wesson and I informed them that I was going with another company which I can prove through my email. I never signed a contract of any sort with this company. Astonishing, I just received an email this evening stating that I have a balance with Bantam Wesson. They never delivered oil to my home and I never signed or agreed to a contract. I want a full explanation as to why I am receiving a bill and confirmation that they did not falsify an contract that I never agreed to. I have contacted my attorney and will take legal action if this is not resolved immediatelyBantamWesson Response

We have been customers for over five years and couldn't be more pleased. The technicians are always professional, knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. They take the time to explain what needs to be done and why. When they leave, the work site is always clean and tidy. And they arrive when expected. The "front line girls" are outstanding - always willing to listen and very responsive to customer needs. We just had our A/C and furnace replaced and we thank you for another job well done...BantamWesson Response
