Do not do business with this company. As you will see in the other reviews, if you make any purchase (even something that says free) you are auto enrolled in their automatic shipment program. You will then receive every publication and be responsible for refusing and shipping the items back. If you happened to open the package, use the website and log in with the account number. Find the program options drop down and change it to discontinue. Hopefully that works. I see below calling them doesn't work. The book my mother received was over $50 with included taxes and shipping costs, and featured a supposedly free book worth another $39.99.

Bottom line books hook people with a continuity clause in order to keep sending unwanted material. Then make it nearly impossible for people to stop delivery. I have refused delivery and had the post office return the book but they keep sending bills for books I don't want or have.

If possible I would have given Bottom Line books half a star at most. I did order a book a few months back and paid for it in full a little over a month ago. Today's mail brought a bill. I looked to see if my check had been had been lost or cashed, noticed the Bottom Line bill was for a 2023 book???? So now I have a bill for a book I NEVER ordered and hasn't arrived. Should have checked reviews on line before ever ordering from this ******* company. After a couple of phone calls, I found the book, when it arrives, can be returned UNOPENED by writing "return to sender" and dropping it in the mail. I'm hoping this works. Other reviews I found aren't encouraging. If the return doesn't work, my next calls will be to my U.S. Senators and the Attorney General of my state. May contact the Attorney General any way with a warning. I'm sure I'm not the only one receiving these UNORDERED books and bills for over $50. If you are a victim of Bottom Line, let your state and federal officials know. Good luck and don't pay for something you didn't order.

Bottom Line is a predator. They send books with no order for them, fail to provide a return label, ignore repeated requests to be removed from their mailing lists, and report refusal to pay for unwanted books to collection agencies! A word to the wise: Do NOT become involved with this company!!

I get a book of health secrets, etc from Bottom Line Books. A month or so later a bill arrives telling me that owe $49.95. The book is laughable, a collection of old wive medicines and cures and is not worth anything to me. Is anyone watching?

I will NEVER order another book from this company. I ordered a book from them in 2019 by sending in a return card they sent me in the email. The book looked interesting and was. The problem is that in 2020 they sent me another book. I didn't remember requesting the book, but it was a crazy year so thought I might have forgotten. I paid for the book and kept it. In 2021 they sent me yet ANOTHER book. This time I KNOW I did not request it. I called to have my name taken off of their mailing list, which they did courteously. However, when I mentioned that I had not requested the last two books, the representative said that it was a series of books that I had signed up for. There was NOTHING on that card to indicate this was a series of books you would receive FOREVER. This is a very deceiving and DISHONEST practice. They will never get another dime from me.

Bottom line books has some auto shipments with some books. I get two during the year. They send out postcards that you have to send back or call them if you do not want a shipment. I think that there should be a reminder card for you to call them if you want to continue the shipment. This way you would not get anything you do not want.

My experience with Bottomline Books is also very similar to most of those reported here. This spring, 2021, I rec'd a card in the mail offering a book called Alzheimer's Solution. The price advertised at that time was approx. $25.00, with the "return if not wanted" guarantee. Shockingly, the bill for that book that followed....$56.08, with SEVERAL add on fees that were never disclosed, soon arrived. I ret'd the book, and was careful to keep my post office receipt for that return. Months went by, as their "dunnings" and suggestions that they might have to take legal action to collect my "unpaid bill" began, and continued. I too am a senior citizen, but not too old and inexperienced in life to not recognize what I believe to be a well rehearsed scheme appearing to be unfolding here. Interestingly enough, the June/July issue of **** magazine, under "fight sneaky fees", has an article related to this called "Steering Clear of Hidden Fees". Basically a "no star" review for me.

Unsolicited books show up routinely. My mother has returned many of them, but is still getting billed. This is a SCAM company!
