Our home required some minor plumbing maintenance or so we thought. Drain Detectives assisted and referred us to So Clean to assist with major water damage restoration. The appointment was made and from the initial start the staff were very pleasant. Their guys came out assess the damages. ****************** was removed, and they set up drying equipment which was left for a few days. When their guys came to pick up the equipment, they informed us that we will be contacted by ****** from their office, and a different crew will complete the job. Unfortunately, it has been two years and counting. We've been told numerous times that unfortunately due to Covid staffing/finding contractors has been a big problem, but they are working on getting someone out to our home. Months went by and floor samples were brought out. At this time, we were told by ****** to sign over the insurance check to So Clean to pay for the work they have done thus far. We also were told itll take care of the startup cost for the materials needed; floor/drywall etc. We were hesitant to give her the check with the job incomplete but felt obligated. Another year has passed, and the job is still incomplete... there is a huge hole in the wall and floor area. They used a thin wooden slate to cover up the hole in the floor. Our dining area is being used for storage space. Weve had to travel using time/gas to wash clothing as this is our laundry area that we are unable to utilize. This has been a huge inconvenience. At this point the check needs to be retuned subtracting the work done at the initial startup. We have been very patient, understanding and have not complained up until this point. We are not ones to write reviews, but we hope this review will help others escape the same experience we have encountered from them.
