This is the same issue that others have reported in previous reviews. They do not offer replacement bulbs. They say they will in the next six weeks, but it has been 18 months, and I continue to get no real ETA. I have continued to email them, and I get the same response. They don't have it but will get and take the bulb to a hardware store to have them locate it. I have been unsuccessful. The base is a custom fit for Balsam Hill trees.Review from Renea B

Horrible customer service. Don't buy a tree and have a warranty. I was told on Jan 8th they would be sending out lights. Made two inquiries since then. Still dont have an email they have been shipped. Lights were never sent. If the lights come it will be in March. I will never purchase another item from Balsam Hill. They don't deserve even one star. Order said delivered Jan. 6; never received; no help in trying to find out who carrier was, where delivered; just keep saying that tracking shows it was delivered. Now offering a 30% refund - starting a process I've had before with internet scammers. Why no help? Not happy and very suspicious.Review from Suzette M

I bought a $1000+ tree in 2017 with a ten year warranty. Turns out the warranty didnt cover the specific tree i purchased- which it did when I bought it. (That's why I bought it) They literally changed the policy. Buyers beware the tree may be nice but you won't get the use of the warranty they are "selling"Review from Jennifer E

I received 2 solar snowman lights from my mom as a gift that cost $119. On one of them the solar lights did not work at all and to top it off, it came unglued and the globe broke into pieces. I emailed customer support at the beginning of January to see what I could do with these, and they said that I could not return or replace the items because is was after December 25th. It took 3 emails to get this response. I would never recommend shopping from this company. I looked at reviews for this product, and everyone seemed to be having the same problem. They are clearly a cheap company that is poorly managed.Review from Ryan E

If it was possible to leave ZERO stars, I would! I will try to keep this simple. Do not buy these overpriced, shotty, defective products. They do not last and the company does not stand behind their products. Horrible customer service! Read the reviews here and visit the Balsam Hill ******************* page with over **** members. I treated myself to an absurdly expensive prelit tree because I was misled to believe it was of high quality and it would last. It most certainly did not! I also stupidly bought a $250 fall wreath which I could have bought near the same thing and probably better quality at Hobby Lobby for $45. Do not fall into the BullShh Hll trap! I, like several others, are not able to get replacement bulbs for their pre-lit trees making them non functional. Very disappointed that the company can just say sorry but yet sell their trees knowing there are NO replacement bulbs to be sold. They say you have to pull the bulb from the socket and then use one from elsewhere , I am not comfortable playing with electricity, You pull the bulbs out and replace them. I have a 7 foot pre-lit tree. No complaints about the tree itself, but this year 2 sections of lights went out. I found out that the "master bulb" (basially a fuse) popped. I did some troubleshooting, but used up the remaining master bulbs that came with the tree. I checked Balsam Hill website and found that master bulbs were not listed, so I called customer service. They told me they don't sell the master bulbs and they are only available to people with an extended warranty. My tree is 5-years old and obviously not under warranty. I spoke to 3 different customer service people over the course of a week and all of them were in the range from rude to very rude (I guess I would be too if I worked for Balsam Hill). If you're in the market for a $1000+ tree, look elsewhere. In my opinion this company is right on the edge of a scam company.Review from Diane P

My husband and I are elderly and he is also disabled where he cannot assist me with setting up or taking down and storing a tree. I purchased the Standard Rolling Christmas Storage Bag the end of November. I did not put my tree up until the beginning of December. I had to get assistance from someone else to set this up. We just tried to pull up the bag over the tree and were unable to do so. It was not possible at all. The person that assisted me is very handy and could not do it either. I contacted Balsam Hill and all I got was our return policy is 30 days or December 25th. Who takes their tree down on Christmas Day? It is January 5th (only 10 days after). No one will make an exception to return this item. I wasted over $200 on this storage bag. The person at Balsam Hill could not even locate a video on how to do this storage bag. I have bought many items from Balsam Hill and never had any issues. This is just poor customer service policy. I would like a refund for this purchase. I am filing a formal complaint with Balsam Hill Corporate Headquarters and I hope they have the decency to do something about this policy.Review from Chaudron S

Bought a very expensive lit ******* and had issues almost immediately. I was shocked to learn the warranty was only 30 days, and the ******************* just recommended buying a new set (over $400)I was able to get a $30 light repair gun from ********** and fix it. But something was clearly wrong with the wiring.This continued for 3 more yearsuntil I just decided to RE-ORDER this year. I was not prepared for the sparse, fake, plastic ******* I received! It also now had only batteries as a power source! I would have walked by this at a craft store for $20, none the less the almost $300 I had spent. I called and asked to return it the same day and was told to repack it and ship it back, but Id be charged a re-stocking fee!Sad, disappointing and not the way I had hoped to start my Christmas.
