            Complaints processed by BBB show confusion when subscribing to a report plus free trial and then cancelling the trial. Complaints also state that despite being a subscriber certain services cost extra.

            Consumers should understand that when choosing a "report plus free trial" the report itself is not free, the 7 day trial is free and if you cancel the trial you are still obligated to pay for the initial report.

            BBB also suggests reading the "offer terms" that state what is excluded in each membership; that you will be charged even if no criminal report is found, and that you will automatically billed if you do not cancel during the trial period.

            Inflection has requested that consumers call the company before filing a complaint with BBB.

              I own a short term rental company in ******, ******* with *************. We use Airbnb as one of our online travel platforms. I was banned from Airbnb in November, 2023, because of an egregiously incorrect background check report from this company after having been a member of Airbnb since 2011. This has negatively affected my business and is completely wrong. I have also tried on numerous occasions to contact this company and it is impossible.

              Negative 5 star review for clarification. I had an epic vacation planned and book through AirBnb with my girlfriend for her first time out of country and I got a random email saying they cancelled all my trips and removed me from the app because of a false, embarrassing claim that I have Assault with body injury to a family member with bodily harm! I thought this was fraud or been hack, however I found out this company inflection sent incorrect information to Airbnb and I will be out a few thousand dollars of flights, booked events and PTO from work. I am outraged by their ignorance to make this claim and absolutely ruin my vacation and my girlfriends first time experience traveling abroad to study at the university. I need this corrected immediately to hopefully not lose my bookings and be reactivated.
