I'm president of our HOA and we started the contract with CitiScape with high hopes but have been worn down over the last 18 months by poor communication, constant delays and just basic incompetence.I and the other board members have emailed them dozens of times asking for updates to time-sensitive projects and we only get a reply about every 3-4 weeks. some examples: After several break ins, we needed to replace the front gate and fix several broken internal doors. Our property manager, ****, got a quote to update the electric strike on the front gate several weeks after the break-in, and then waited 2 months until the next Board meeting to share the quote. Over all, the gate replacement took about 11 months, during which time we were broken into several more times. The broken doors still haven't been replaced after over a year and over a dozen emails asking for an update.We requested an update to our CC&Rs to record a change in parking spots at the end of last year and over 8 months later, it still hasn't been done, and is threatening to block the sale of one of the owners' condos. We asked for quotes to do some much needed roof repairs. the quotes weren't itemized for the different parts of the project, so we asked for an itemized quote. We then approved the quote; 13 months later and the work hasn't started yet, and we've discovered that there's a project management fee of thousands of dollars that wasn't included in the original quote. Delay after delay after delay.We've had two property managers and they've both let us down: if you get a chance to work with **** or *****, ask for someone else. Don't waste your money, they won't earn it.
