Our goods were picked up at our former house in ****** on March 6, 2024 by a company in *************** that is associated with Hawaiian Movers. The company who picked our goods is called "Let's Move It Right," who claims they contracted with Matson Shipping to ship the goods over the ocean to *********** from where they will be trucked to our new residence in ********. Our goods were to be delivered asap estimated to be aprox 30 days; our belongings (electronics, furniture, artwork, music instruments, music cd collection, clothes, etc etc) are allegedly still sitting on the dock in ******** April 20, 2024, are promised to be shipped out of ******** "in a few days" as of last evening April 19, 2024. We have contacted *********************** at "Let's Move It Right" and he blames ***** for the delay. We paid ******* in full prior to delivery to insure no delays and so that our goods do not bake in the ****** sun, but they are doing just that, baking in the sun on the dock. We are disabled retired senior citizens and cannot tolerate this ignorant abuse much longer. We have dealt with Matson for over 8 years while we lived in ****** and never had a problem. We cannot go back to ****** and file any legal actions. Let's Move It Right has a list of reviews, the bad ones are mostly blocked due to swearing comments by other abused clients who "violated" the word use format of filing a legitimate but ANGRY and justified complaint. We have contacted the *************** police asking for assistance. The "authorities" will likely want to take YEARS to investigate the matter while our goods continue to bake in a steel shipping container or warehouse owned by "Let's Move It right." This process is ignorant, we want our goods delivered in the same condition as when picked up--i.e. excellent condition, NOT damaged by criminals stealing what they want, which IS a common practice when shipping goods to and from ******. We need IMMEDIATE help please and DO NOT deserve any more abuse.

For anyone thinking of shipping their car to ****** through Matson, please consider this review. I had my car shipped through Matson after dropping it off in the port at Long Beach. I had registered and arranged everything online and prepaid. Got the emails and everything went smoothly until I went to pick up the car in ********. Upon arriving to the pick-up location, they asked me when I arrived on Island. Being truthful, I told them I had arrived within the past day. They then directed me to an area that had a clipboard with instructions to e-mail proof of my vaccination card and my drivers license. Nothing in any of the previous e-mails or notifications mentioned this critical part. I was also not told this when I dropped off the car in Long Beach. They didn't even ask for proof I owned the car when I dropped it off. I told them I just traveled and had the ** code from the site to prove I was cleared by safe travel ******. They still demanded I provide them proof of vaccination before they would give me my car. I felt I had no other choice but to comply with their demands. They took my ID and vaccination cards into their office to make a copy before they would release my car to me. This is a violation of my privacy. Having customers e-mail proof of vaccination introduces risk to their customers of having personal information stolen. Their workers would not allow anyone inside their office nor did I even do an inspection of my car with any of their employees. Therefore, none of their employees were at risk from anyone. Thankfully, my car arrived dirty, but undamaged and is the only reasonable thing about the whole experience, however the stress knowing that a private company is going around demanding personal information to which they have NO RIGHT, and keeping records of it is unnerving to say the least. Also, keep in mind that many other companies claiming to ship cars to ****** are doing so through Matson, so this may still affect you.

We appreciate our Customers feedback. Since the start of the pandemic, Matson has followed all related CDC and local government guidance and health directives in an effort to protect the safety of its employees and customers. This included aligning our protocols for vehicle shipping customers who come to pick up their vehicle after recent travel to ****** with ********** travel mandate, which requires quarantine or proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results. We also respect and protect our customers privacy and while we continue to require proof to verify health status along with the identity of the person picking up a shipped vehicle, we no longer make copies of that information. Matson does not retain COVID-related information or copies of its customers IDs in any form.
