During the process of considering placing an order for the 10 test panel, the portal indicated that the order could not be completed without providing a street address as it was federal law. Upon seeing this page and seeing that one of the tests was omitted, I opted out of purchasing the product and completing the page. Within a day I saw a charge on my debit card reflecting the $139 fee. I called the customer service team to let them know that I had not completed my order, and they informed me that although the page says it is federal requirement to place it, by having an account at all, it will autosupply the information. This is highly misleading on the order page as it specifically says, "Finish placing my order." Their website, as well as their chat coordinators, both indicate that refunds are easy and it is as simple as calling the customer support line to receive one within 21 days of order purchase. This is not the case and does not reflect the full cancellation policy or T&Cs listed at the bottom of the website. It misleads the customer to believe a full refund can be received if there is an issue with the ordering process. In this case, both the ordering page indicating the order was not placed, and the misleading cancellation policy led to me receiving a 20% fee for requesting a cancellation and refund on the order that I never completed placing. This is unacceptable and the customer service team did not resolve the clear issue at hand, multiple misleading statements.
