            On November 15, 2021 your BBB was made aware that individuals are posing as our Accredited Business member USTech Support located in Pasadena, CA, imposters are invoicing consumers for tech support subscriptions consumers did not sign up for. Any unsolicited or unexpected communications asking for personal information or telling you to download an attachment is red flag. They are "phishing" for Social Security or Social Insurance number, banking information, passwords, credit card information, or other personal details for use in identity theft.

            USTech Support will also never ask our customers to download something to cancel any accounts they may have with us. Consumers who have been a victim of this fraud attempt can file complaints directly with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center, www.ic3.gov, IC3 also asks people to report unsuccessful BEC attempts as well. Information from attempts may help establish patterns or identify mule bank accounts.

            Terrible company. Their service is severely lacking and the means to cancel your subscription is absurd. They spend more time trying to upsell and upgrade your subscription than actually troubleshooting your computer issues. I'm unsure why a company must have so little integrity to at least just be transparent that they're using call centers from overseas. Their tech knowledge and troubleshooting ability is generally not bad, but to fake names as "*******************" for someone who clearly does not sound like ******************* is just ridiculous.
