THE DISPUTE I FILED WITH THE COMPANY: In reconciling my bank account I noticed a charge from your company for $203.09. While I remember doing a trial for Beach Body I don't recall ever signing up for anything this expensive nor do I recall giving permission for it to auto-renew. I do not use this service. I haven't logged in except to cancel after noticing this charge. I am unable to find any email communication warning me of this upcoming auto renewal. The 30 day policy is absolutely unacceptable in this situation. I hope that your company will do the right thing and process a refund for a product I was unknowingly auto subscribed to. I think going forward your company should consider reaching out to your clients to remind them before processing such a large charge with just a 30 day time frame for refund.The request for a refund was denied. The company stated "We can see that you have enrolled into Annual BOD + Monthly BODi membership on 05/20/2022 and you did cancel your Monthly BODi membership on 12/20/2022. however your Annual BOD membership was not cancelled." "Note: BOD standalone membership was retired on March 2nd, 2023, and replaced with our new vastly superior platform BODi. BOD is no longer available and all existing members like yourself have been transitioned to our new platform which is BODi. Our system shows that we sent you an email about the upgrade on 4/15/2023 and it was opened/viewed on 4/15/2023." Somehow there is a monthly membership AND an annual membership? The company is unethical and hides behind the fact that I checked a box to agree to their terms an services which was obviously not clear enough. There is no way I would have agreed to such a large fee for a service like this. I feel as if I was scammed and taken advantage of. I think it is sad that this company has to take money from people that do not use their product in order to stay afloat. I'm sure a lot of their revenue comes from these types of transactions.
