I have a hall light with a LED bulb that suddenly glowed blue at night. Knowing nothing about electrical hazards/fires I was frantic to get an electrician fast. I don't like to pick from the yellow pages & my friend gave me a name of a guy she used. He was not available until the next day & I did not want to wait. I phoned Heuser Hardware to ask if they know any electricians and Voila! they gave me Kent Abel at Abtech. I called & spoke to Josh, gave him the details & was told an electrician could be at my house that afternoon between 3 and 4 PM. Around 2:30 he showed up & we discussed the situation. He thought it was the bulb being faulty. We changed the bulb but that night it glowed blue again. GJ took my call & promised Nate would come out again & open the wall switch and replace it & check the wiring at the fixture. It is now three days & no glowing blue LED. Nate explaned that the contacts inside the switch stayed in the on position & allowed voltage to leak at a low level & that is why the LED glowed blue because of the phosphorus in side. Whew! I was so relieved and happy with their service & concern for a new customer. I will call on them again anytime I need electrical services & highly recommend Abtech. GJ was patient & gave fantastic customer service along with his team.
