Purchased a 5 ton GeoCool Inverter series geothermal system from Ingram's. It is rated at 55,000 BTUH for heat, but only provides 22,000 to 32,000 BTUH for me. The system does not ramp up to full power. I spent two months working with tech support at MrCool to resolve the problem, but they had no solution and eventually told me that the system was "operating normally". I have sent two messages to Ingram's via their online messaging system and requested that they either help resolve the problem or allow me to return the system for a refund. THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO MY REQUESTS. The owners of Ingram's and MrCool are the same people. MrCool tech support is terrible. They drag out the process by taking days or longer to respond to your email requests. They do not answer the phone--email is the only way you can communicate with them. They drag out the process well past the 30 day window that Ingram's has for returns, so that Ingram's can then ignore or deny your request to return a product. DO NOT BUY FROM INGRAM'S--YOU WILL REGRET IT. I would leave zero stars if I could.Review from Shannon T

DO NOT BUY FROM INGRAMS HEAT AND AIR!!! We purchased ONE heat/air unit. They charged us for two and sent both of them, even though we contacted customer service and told them the problem before the second unit shipped. Every customer service rep we’ve spoken to has lied to us and then quit responding to us entirely. We eventually disputed the charge on our credit card. Ingrams PROMISED to return our money and pick up their unit if we canceled the dispute. Like an idiot, I believed them. Now they’re telling me they won’t refund our money for at least 2-3 months, because that’s their company policy, regardless of the fact that it was their mistake in the beginning. This is hands down, one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. By the way, they pay unhappy customers to take down negative reviews, that’s why they look like they have good reviews on other review platforms.Review from Rick R

I have never experienced a company with so much lack of costumer service. I have gotten a air handler that didn't fit or work I wanted to return it and talked to over 5 different people over this return and still trying to return it!! Also they charge over 250 dollars to ship it back plus 15% restocking fee half of what I paid now I'm stuck with a unit I can't use! They will drag you on for more then 30 days for the return threshold to be passed so you can't return it worse company I ever dealt with I don't recommend this company to anyone not even there worse enemy..Review from Charles T

They will not stand behind their product. I have a heating and air unit still under warranty that needs repair and can’t get anyone to return my calls. I have called and left messages at least a half dozen times. This is the second incident I have had with this company. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!Review from Patricia K

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I needed one small part for a unit that I had purchased from them and after being run around between customer service, technical support people claiming they called people claiming they emailed I finally gave up.Review from Tanya R.

I purchased a Mr cool mini split from Ingrams. This has been the worst experience. I have never had so much trouble with a company before. First of all, you can't call them and actually speak to someone. You have to leave message and wait forever for a return call. I needed an additional 25ft line set and coupler to connect my lines. Their website is vague at best for ordering. My order was wrong and I couldn't exchange it for the correct lineset because it was more than a month past the order date. That happened to be how long it took my brother to be able to connect the lines for me. So I ate the 400 dollars and ordered the correct line. They told me the first coupler I ordered wasn't right and I needed that as well. Turns out the first coupler was the right one and they are giving me a hard time about returning the second one they said I needed, that I didn't. This has been on ongoing argument for two weeks to return this unopened coupler! This company is horrible. I'll never do business with them again or refer them to anyone I know for anything!Review from Michael L.

We purchased a Revolv Electric Furnace on November 8th. We were assured by that it would ship in 3-5 business days. This was not the case. At every turn, we were not notified of changes such as the change in shipping companies, delays, and more. Any pertinent information was learned through our own efforts, not Ingram's. The shipping companies were of more assistance than any representative from Ingram. The furnace FINALLY was delivered on the afternoon of November 23rd, the day before Thanksgiving. Because of the not knowing when the furnace would arrive, our electrician was not able to connect the furnace until November the 25th. My wife has multiple immune system issues that are extremely affected by the cold. To have her withstand continual extreme temperatures for such a lengthy period of time is not beneficial to her health. Her recovery time will be lengthy at best. During the lengthy arrival time, I was speaking with Jillian, who not once inquired as to whether we had received the unit. I spoke with her this morning, November 29th. She had taken our situation to upper management to see if any compensation would be offered. NO compensation, no apology from upper management, no person to person discussion with upper management will be offered to even attempt to make this situation right. This scenario is not caring for their customers. Ingram came highly recommended. We are people who do our research before jumping into such an important purchase. There were many other companies that we could have chosen, but we felt confident that Ingram would pull through with flying colors. Sadly, this was not so in our experience. Tried calling multiple times for a warranty issue regarding one of my mini-split units not cooling. Already paid over $500 for an HVAC company to troubleshoot with no luck. Left several messages with the tech department to call me back because no one ever answered even while waiting in their que. No call back either! Tried calling sales an guest what? I got someone to answer on first call. However they could not help me but did put in a work order with the tech department. Several days later and still no call from tech department and unit continues not to work, Obviously they are only concerned with the sale and not what happens after! Only time I have ever reached out to complain about a business in my life…Review from Brian A

So .... I don't normally take time for reviews however felt compelled to relate a positive experience. Ingram's has some less than flattering reviews. Yes I checked before my first order. My experience was great. VERY competitive pricing. Accurate in stock status. I felt freight shipping was a bit slower than expected. Contacted Nicolas at Ingram's. He very thoroughly and promptly tracked it down and it arrived shortly thereafter. No way Ingram's can control shipping. Items arrived in perfect condition. Thanks Ingram's
