Josiah made us start our wedding 17 minutes late because he couldn't find the section of the venue we were in (and didn't try to contact anyone within the venue or alternate contacts provided), then after getting to the section and setting up, we had to continue to wait because he had to update his computer. Three songs total were supposed to be played (and I need to emphasize this point - three TOTAL songs were to be played by Josiah. There was supposed to be seating music, but since we were anxiously waiting for Josiah to get set up, we told him to skip to the ceremony music!). The first song, the most important one, was never played. The second one, during the bride and bridesmaid's walk, was restarted for some reason, then after the second play of the song the music just sort of... stuttered off? Kind of like a techno remix of the song? Though I do have to admit - the third song during our kiss was perfectly on cue! We paid 700 bucks for three songs. Dude came late, didn't play one of those songs, and did a poor job with one other. You're probably thinking to yourself "man, that sucks, I'm sure DJ Sound Productions offered an apology, at least!" Luke at DJ Sound productions, when confronted, called my wife "petty", said that our "wedding wasn't disturbed" because of Josiah being tardy, and proceeded to blame her for miscommunication. During the call, he revealed that Josiah had been on mute in the background THE WHOLE TIME, and then Josiah and Luke tag-teamed yelling at my wife, not letting her speak, and putting words in her mouth. At this point, I know what you're thinking. We probably screwed up an email somewhere, wires were crossed, Josiah's a good guy he probably had a bad day, maybe we're just overreacting, etc. In fact, I'll bet dollars to donuts that very soon there will be a response to this review from DJ Sound Productions saying some of these exact things, and maybe even accusing me of "slander", as he did when he spoke to my wife. Here's the thing... I have videography to back up my claims, and documentation from DJ Sound Production's own systems (which they've now locked me out for some reason.... Funny considering I had access earlier today. It's okay though, I've taken screenshots of everything and exported all documents!) If you are searching for a DJ for your event, I implore you to reconsider purchasing services from DJ Sound Productions. If you have another DJ in mind, pick them. If you have a friend or family member that could do it, choose them instead. If you have a bluetooth speaker and Spotify, you'll probably fare better than hiring DJ Sound Productions.

Sadly, Eric & Brittany have tried their hardest to get a free wedding. They initially tried to cancel, and when they realized their contract stated they didn't cancel within the time frame allotted, they decided to go ahead with the service, then complain afterward to get their money back. They even have others reviewing us that aren't even customers or even a part of their wedding. How honest is that?? That's how dishonest they have been. Josiah didn't cause them to start 17 minutes late. Even IF he did, 17 minutes late doesn't ruin a wedding. They started late because the Bride & Groom arrived later than they wanted and their PICTURES took longer than they wanted. Eric stated in a phone call the night before, for the DJ to call him when the DJ arrived so that Eric could tell him how to get to the specific garden. Eric did not answer the 3 calls the DJ placed when he arrived at 5:20. Then at 5:45, Eric called the DJ, but the DJ had already found the location. They weren't "anxiously waiting for the DJ to set up". They were taking pictures. When the DJ was ready to go at 6:01, they said that they were just getting ready to start. They had told him NOT to play the seating music, and NOT to play the Canon in D. And that the one song the Groom would walk into and then the 2nd verse, the Bride would walk into. The "petty comment was pertaining to the fact that Brittany Montijo was complaining about what the DJ was wearing and if the DJ ever asked for directions. They have a 6:00 start time on their sheets. That was THEM who entered that, not us. The videos they submitted to us show exactly NOTHING of what they are complaining about. However, we still get the verbal assaults from Eric & Brittany, the ever changing embellishments of their story, and the incomplete details that they leave out so that you only hear the incorrect details. It was Luke who calmed down Brittany and the DJ. And can you be upset at the DJ when he catches someone lying to get a free wedding? Sadly, these people do exist, and they try and do anything to get their free services. It's sad, but they will stop at nothing to keep the false narrative going, even commit crimes of Theft Of Services and Fraud to get it done. But Eric M****** and Brittany M****** are just those people. We do wish them the best in their future together and hope that together, they change their ways and never do this to another company again.
