If I could give them a 0, I would. They denied my cancer claim when I literally had a cancer removal surgery and four painful biopsies. Since they couldn't dispute the fact that I had cancer, they tried to falsely accuse me of being dishonest by innacurately reading my medical records and creating their own narrative. I've paid them every month on time and when I really needed critical illness payment in one of the hardest times in my life, I was met with avoidance, snarky commentary, and extremely dishonest and illegal practices. They never requested my medical records but kept telling me they were waiting on them. After two months, I ordered them myself and sent them to them. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They will scam you. Also, Dylan L in claims is a terrible human who is literally never at his job and has not reached out one time to me and I filed my claim 4 months ago.Review from Jordan S

The insurance agent told me what I wanted to hear in order to get me to sign up for their policy. I then find out later than my claim is not covered despite being told that it would be. I reached out and explained the situation. They didn't care whatsoever. They just want you to sign up no matter what and get your money. And never pay out claims. Deceitful and poor customer service.Review from Tina S

I bought an accident policy from them in 2017 for myself & my husband. I've paid in over $7,000.00 in monthly premiums since. Filed my first claim a few months ago when my husband ended up with a massive tear in his shoulder, a torn tendon and shredded bicep, requiring surgery & 6 months of rehab/therapy. 1st issue, he was told therapy had to be done within so many days of the initial injury. He couldn't start therapy per doctors orders until after surgery, so that's not covered. Then after over $18,000.00 for the surgery, he received a claim check for $535.00 . The policy states up to $10,0000.00 for this type of injury. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I didn't have to . Buyer Beware! Not worth the money you will pay for the policy.Review from Beverly H

For 10 years i payed $49.00 a month for insurance with assurity life ins. only to get a letter from them saying that my monthly premium was going up to $817.00 as of dec 5,2021 . My yearly premium would be $9000.00 a year and go up every year after that . Surely this has to be illegal who in their right mind would pay that for $100,000 policy?Review from Paul B

This company scams Social Security people they come in your house and they tell you they gonna save money on your Social Security check and get your money they come in the house to tell you that and they only sell you life insurance That is extremely high but you never get a discount from Social Security like they tell you it's a scam just to get into your houseReview from Miss R

WARNING I purchased an critical illness life insurance policy for my spouse from Assurity Life Insurance company. I into it paid it for 4 years. The policy was supposed to pay 100% upon death of a heart attack. My spouse passed away from an acute heart attack. Assurity denied the claim???? Please do not purchase or pay on a policy from this company they do NOT PAY!
