1800 accountant cost us thousands in errors. Our advisor made us believe we owed close to or over a million in income tax when the amount owed was actual ZERO. A mistake like this could cause people to take drastic measures. Sales tax filings were not done on time and cost us thousands in penalties. Now that we are waiting for them to finish our 2023 taxes we are told oir advisor is holding the taxes to ammendment our previous years taxes when we NEVER approved this. This place is a mess. Person who pays our sales tax for us ill advised us and never mentioned we needed to pay different cities taxes and only paid what we knew we had to pay. This place will really mess up your business and your life.

I would not recommend that any small business use this company. Their price is extremely expensive and their work is on par with H&R block. They make very specific promises that you will be able to speak to your accountant any time that you want. However, they strictly limit each conversation with your accountant to 30min. If you hit the time limit, the accountant rushes you off the phone and will basically hang up on you if you don't end the conversation. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment with an advisor within a reasonable timeframe. Forget about it during tax season, you will be looking at 2 week waiting times for an appointment. And you can't book more than one appointment at a time. Questions that are sent through the messaging portal are usually met with other questions and it takes forever to communicate because of the back and forth you need to go through in their messaging app. There is much more to my terrible experience with this company, but I feel that I have given enough information for anyone to make an informed decision.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WASTED MONEY ON! I received absolutely nothing in exchange for the $2000 I spent with this awful, scammy company. I did ALL OF THE WORK for my taxes. They just entered the numbers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They take a mind-numbingly long amount of time to respond and it's usually with an answer that does not help or its them saying "we bought the wrong package for that." Apparently the $2000 package (which was the only "package" we were offered or told about when we called) only includeS..... advice.... and that's when they have time for you. And it's bad advice. They try to upsell different things and most of the time it was NOT in the best interest of my company. The endless amount of hours and tears spent on the frustration I got from this company is indescribable and I will NEVER recommend them! I wouldn't use their services if they were FREE and there is nothing that could change my mind on this! The sales person even told me he would be doing my taxes directly (smooth talker too). However. That same salesperson I spoke with wasn't even on my "team," he wasn't even an accountant. Literally just a salesperson. His name was ****, he says he's "dangerously good at taxes," yet he's not even qualified to do them. I was also harassed days on end with emails requesting documentation I had sent in. Just awful!

If I could give zero stars I would. The took almost $4,000 to do my taxes and its been two months and I still have yet to talk to an accountant. I've had to file an extension because I can't even get in contact with anyone. Even the sales guy that I spoke with won't return my call. Use anyone but this company.

1800accountant promises the moon but delivers manure. I was talked into giving them a try when I started my new business and for the first year things seemed pretty seemless. Now after my second year, communication has been zero to none. Getting in touch with anyone that can help with my filing has been impossible except for the one that called and I couldnt understand anything they were saying. They are supposed to be using all the info I upload towards tax prep and apparently did not as many expenses I listed were not even looked at. Only way to talk to the tax team is through the chat button. Tried to schedule an appointment to get this all corrected and the earliest is a week out. Botttom line, I would NEVER recommend 1800accountant to anyone!

This company is awful! They are salesmen pushing product WAY more than they are accountants and tax advisors. They say all sorts of things to convince you their services are VERY beneficial to you. They do not uphold the services they sell, they will exaggerate everything they are capable of doing, and then fall short when youve paid. They are not quick to respond to messages, if you miss a phone call, it will be another week or two before you can schedule another one. I would HONESTLY love to *** this company, but Im sure I signed something preventing me from winning any lawsuit.. I am a small business and I am out $2,700 for a service that realistically should of cost me $500 from a local accountant.

I hired 1-800accountant after their salesman gave me in writing a detailed listed of the services I would be paying for. This included filing and preparation of personal and business taxes. When I went to submit my business taxes, they prompted me to pay an additional 800$. When I reached out to customer service and billing, they gave kept moving the goal post as to why I needed to pay more for a service I already paid for. I provided the written communication from their sales department and they disregarded it altogether and shifted the burden back to me, saying their offer was contingent on a subscription with ZenBusiness that I cancelled months earlier. I kept asking them to provide me information but they kept putting me on hold and saying they could do nothing unless I paid the additonal fee. Do not do business with these people. Absolutely ridiculous way of doing business.

I think that they are a FRAUD and DO NOT DELIVER on their word. The sales people are great as far as selling but you are not getting what you are sold on. People BEWARE - if you chose to go with this company, select the ******TO-MONTH option. DO NOT go with the 1 payment YEAR option. That is the ONLY way to get out of it. Otherwise, they will keep ALL of your money. I just learned that there is NO refund after 30 days when you go with the 1-year 1-payment option. Total fraud. So I have $1,600 wasted; service is bad. They assign you someone from a different state with no knowledge of your state. But I should have checked their reviews before signing, so that part is totally on me! Fool me once, fool me twice :-(

Run away as fast as you can. The people individually are nice and it seems like they want to help, but there is zero communication between **************". You have to triple check anything they put together, and customer support is nowhere to be found. In no way shape or form would I recommend 1800. Again, run.
