I ordered a new refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher on 2/19/24 from sales rep ************** at the ******* ** store. I had every item selected, including color sku#, associated moves and/or installation. As explained to the "well trained, educated sales rep " that no work of any kind was necessary. I would purchase all appliances but must be absolutely insured a Certificate of Insurance would be provided to my ** cooperative building.-IT TOOK OVER 1 MONTH FOR EMPLOYEES TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SUBMIT CORRECT INTERNAL INFORMATION AND PROVIDE THE **** THIS ALSO REQUIRED DAILY CALLS, EMAILS, TEXTS AND CALLS TO ALL LEVELS OF THE COMPANY. (THE ******* ** STORE RARELY ANSWERS THE ****** HUNGSUP AFTER ANSWERING, WHEN PUT ON HOLD OR IF ANSWER IS TOO DIFFICULT.-OVER 1 MONTH AFTER INITIAL ORDER PLACED, DELIVERY WAS SCHEDULED FINALLY FOR 4/4/24.AGAIN, WITH THE NECESSITY TO CALL ALL LEVELS OF COMPANY REQUARLY, ON MY TIME! -IT WAS MADE CLEAR BUILDING ACCEPTS DELIVERIES BETWEEN 9 AND 4 ONLY. -AFTER WAITING HOME ALL DAY FOR REPORTED DELIVERY THAT KEPT INCREASING UNTIL DRIVER CALLED TO REPORT DELIVERY AFTER 4PM, WHICH BLDG WOULD NOT ACCEPT.-ALMOST 3 MONTH AFTER APPLIANCES PURCHASED AND COMMUNICATIONS IN EXCESS OF 40 HOURS, I DO NOT HAVE APPLIANCES. -WHILE ******* ** STORE MGT ******* WAS ON VACATION, "*****" ASSURED ME, AFTER I CALLED THE STORE, MULTIPLE TIMES I WOULD BE RECEIVING MY APPLIANCES TOMORROW, 4/16. 2 DAYS AGO I EXPRESSED CONCERNS OVER THE DAILY TEXTS AND EMAILS NOTING "MY APPLIANCES WERE NOT SCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY." "***** ASSURED ME, THESE WERE AUTOMATED MESSAGES AND MY APPLIANCES WERE STILL SCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY.-I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE --******* ** STORE AND AFTER MULTIPLE HANG **** WAS ADVICED BY A VERY RUDE EMPLOYEE, "YOU HAVE NO DELIVERY SCHEDULED." HIS LAST COMMENT, "***** WILL CALL YOU TOMORROW " AND HUNG UP. PC Richard refuses to honor their warranty and replace a leaking washing machine. They have lied and gaslit me every step of the way and blame me for a problem that has existed from day one. From ***************** installers who spent half the time watching a soccer game to the complete lack of communication and steadfast refusal to replace my machine, I have decided to close my account once the unit is paid off and will never do business with them again.P.C. The service department is absolutely ridiculous when you call to schedule you can request a morning or afternoon appointment, but it won't matter the drivers on the day of get to choose when they want to arrive and the order they want to schedule you in. I asked for morning early because I had to pick a child up a school, and of course that's the time they chose to schedule me. Every delivery service allows you to pick at least a time frame or window, not this company. Not to mention they have no idea what's going on with my fridge and they were going to order parts they just put in until I said they just did that, then the guy said oh yeah your right, and said oh you need a board! They do not know what they are talking about about and I'm sure they are not licensed! Absolute garbage!P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

Awful customer service does not do anything to help customer when they are in the wrong. Numerous phone calls to customer service. Two days taken off from work for non-deliveries on their part. Could not accommodate getting a delivery to me quickly (next day) or a delivery time that would work for me to not have to take another day off (not getting paid). Even speaking with Supervisors and Assisting Managers was of no help. Asked if a late delivery could be done so did not have to take off again. Told me can request but cannot guarantee. Well it was just that - a request! Delivery came on Thursday 4/11 at 12:45pm (another day off from work and no pay). They did take money off but in no way did it compensate the 3 days I had to take off from work for their non-deliveries or at the least for today to accommodate a late delivery. Especially during these times, when people need every dollar they can get. So I lost money, but still have to pay for the dryer lol. Happy to have the dryer but will not shop again with PC Richards. Just want to do this review so other customers are aware of the service you will get even when it is not your fault.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

We have been loyal P.C. Richard customers for 40+ years. After our latest experience, we will never be going back. Everyone from the salesman all the way down to the customer service agent calling to confirm delivery have failed us. We purchased the towers, the installation, the right side dryer vent kit for both machines and removal for 1 machine. We were supposed to have our machines delivered and installed on February 23, 2024. When the machines were attempted to be delivered, they were delivered without the the right side dryer vent kits and we were informed that the installers don't do that, the warehouse is supposed to take care of it. We ultimately couldn't have delivery that day. We than had delivery scheduled for the following week on the 29th. We visited the store in between deliveries and spoke to a manager and our salesman and they assured us that the dryer vent kits would be installed for next delivery. They were only able to deliver my machine on the 29th because my mother's machine, yet again, did not have the dryer vent kit installed. We then scheduled her delivery of her machine for yesterday March 5th. When the delivery people showed, they only delivered the dryer vent kit and stated that the machine had already been delivered. After calling the store and insisting that her machine wasn't delivered, we found out that a picture of my delivery was attached to my mother's invoice. Now her machine is supposed to be delivered today March 6th. That is 4 days of work missed for my mother and 2 days for me because of the incompetence of the Ledgewood, ** location. No one in that store wants to take accountability, they'd rather play the blame game on everyone else. We have never been so disappointed and frustrated in a company. Unfortunately, all confidence and trust in this store and company has been lost and as a result they have lost loyal customers.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

We bought a kitchen full of appliances, fridge, beverage fridge, dishwasher, stove, and range hood. We additionally decided to buy a ****************** and Dryer. So we were all in on P.C. Richard at that point. Within a week the dryer and dishwasher were both dead. This was shocking. People reading this might wonder why this is a five star review. It is because of *****************************, the associate who sold us the appliances. He worked with us to get as service tech out promptly for the dryer. He coordinated a tech with a third party for the dishwasher. The tech for the dryer spent about ten minutes on the machine, made one phone call, and a new one was in place 3 days later. Amazing. The dishwasher needed to be serviced by a P.C Richard partner. ***** kept in touch with us. He was always available to help us work through things with the third party. He made a really frustrating experience as pleasant as possible. We felt better knowing we had him on our side and working on our behalf. I am glad we did everything through P.C. Richard. Nothing is ever perfect, but with P.C. Richard and *****, I knew that they wanted to get as close to that standard as they could. They did not disappoint.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

I have owned my Frigidaire for 7 months. Everything was good until the 4 month **** when the refrigerator temp would range from *****. Tech said this was normal, frozen food is normal? This corrected itself and now the temps stays at 35, the problem is, is that there is no range. When the temp goes above this number the fridge comes on. The unit comes on about every **** minutes which I know is not normal. I have been round and round with the tech who states this is okay as long as it is cooling. I know for a fact that is not normal for a refrigerator to be running so often. I have asked to have it repaired or replaced with no resolve. My warranty plan has become useless and I am very disappointed with this company. I need/want a new unit!P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

All you would need to do at this time is contact your nearest P.C. **************************** store location, and provide them with this invoice number. The showroom personnel will assist you further. The credit is in the amount of the original purchase price, which is $746.97 + tax ($66.29) for a total of $813.26; we will remove the old appliance when we deliver the new one. I bought a Bosch dishwasher last month and after using it 3 times it stopped working. PC Richards sent a ************* here twice and they did t not fix the problem and also said they werent sure what the problem was. We paid over $1100 for a dishwasher that wont work and I was told by pc Richards that I cant return it. This has been very frustrating and everytime we call we are disconnected and no one can help us.Review from CATHERINE E H

Scam? We purchased a Bosch dishwasher from the ************ store a little over 5 years ago. It has malfunctioned, with an error code about ? the water pump. This is NOT a warranty issue: we expect to pay for repairs. I called the corporate P.C. Richard number to get advice on what to do. They referred me to Bosch. ***** first advised me that the model number on our P.C Richards invoice is incomplete ??? This is important. The Bosch tech who came out could not find the sticker/plaque that is usually attatched to it that gives in model and serial numbers, so he would not do anything. That sticker had to be missing when the appliance was installed. We would have seen if it fell off, and would have saved it.***** gave us a half dozen authorized repair services to call. One was so poorly rated I didn't even call. One did not repair what they did not sell to us. The others would not travel to our location. Spoke with Herb at P.C Richards, who did get back to me with the name of a repair service willing to travel. Spoke with them, and was told that if the dishwasher needed parts, if the part did not have a number on it, we would be back in the position of having a dishwasher we could not get repaired. My last conversation with P.C. Richards was the "we ca't help you. Good luck" type of response.P.C. Richards sold us an appliance that we cannot get repaired. We did not check to make sure that sticker/plaque was in place when it was delivered and installed by P.C. Richards, because we did not know it was a thing. I have since found in on-line research that it is against the law in ** to sell an appliance that is missing that info. The reasons that it may be missing include the ***** of selling a refurbished or "grey market" appliances. Why is the model number on our invoice incomplete? Did P.C. Richards sell us a refurbished appliance as NEW? Did they sell us a grey market appliance illegally?We WERE good customers of P.C. Richards. no more. Others be warned!P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

Hello *****, I'm terribly sorry to hear about the issue you are having concerning your dishwasher. While I can certainly understand your frustration and mistrust, please understand that this was not done intentionally or maliciously. We did not sell you a refurbished or grey market product, nor would we stand to gain anything by doing so. At the time of delivery, we unfortunately would have no way of knowing that the model/serial tag was missing. We have since put protocol in place which now allows us to get a better handle on situations such as these. In your particular case, I think I can be of some assistance.
