I am beyond frustrated with Higher Dose and their complete lack of respect and integrity when it comes to their consumers. I purchased a sauna blanket for my daughter for Christmas (item was purchased Dec 11). Once she received the gift she instantly tried it but was met with disappointment. The blanket would not heat up to the marketed temperature despite it being set at the very highest setting and turned on for 15+minutes at this highest setting. A temperature gauge was used to read the actual temperature and it was 30 degrees cooler than they claimed it should be. They market this product as inducing a significant sweat, but it did not warm enough to actually do this even after 45 mins of use at the highest temperature setting. We contacted their customer support on Dec 29th. Today is January 18, and we still have not heard a word from them. When trying to call their number it goes straight to a recorded message. We have tried to follow up with them 3 times since that initial contact and still no response from them. These sauna blankets are rather expensive, are not functioning as they have marketed, and then do not follow-up to support inquiries. I need the company to return our messages and rectify this situation. I am concerned at this point that they've ignored us for so long that they'll claim we cannot return the item because it is outside their returns policy, even though we contacted them well within the window.
