This company is a rip off, you pay a ton of money up front and then on a monthly basis for poor service and even worst results. I cancelled my plan with them last year July 2023, 7 months later they said I stilled owed them an outstanding balance. They sent my bill to collections after I spoke with them to cancel my plan back in July. Companies like this cannot be trusted and should be put out of business. Highly disappointed they will never get my business again. Very bad business practices so sad.Turner Pest Control Response

I am filing this complaint due to your bad business practices. A few months ago we received a bill for services that were not requested and to our knowledge not performed. First of all we have a locked fence to our backyard so there was no way to enter the area. I called to let your office know that no one came out because we have a doorbell camera that would have detected any service tech. We did not have any door tag or lawn tag to say the lawn was treated. We no longer wanted the service since our year was up and we had decided to use another service that we knew would do a better job. When your techs have come out in the past they spent no more time than 10 minutes to service our property. Terrible service that I would not recommend to anyone. We do not feel that we should be billed for service that was not rendered.Turner Pest Control Response

Service 11/29/23. Extremely disappointed/unhappy. Ive been a Turner customer for my termite bond for 20 years or more. First of all Ive never agreed to using a product that included drilling into my concrete near my front door or anywhere else that was visible-ever. You should have been more CLEAR on that.There are other products out there that dont do that! The tech noticed there was no prior drilling marks and should have confirmed or said something to me. Now its too late and it looks horrible. Turner-Dont put all that on me-you need to take blame too.Second the trench dug around my house on the street side is the worst job Ive ever seen. Very sloppy and appears the grass was destroyed. Prior services left that side without even noticing anything was done. Very disgusted! STEER WAYYYYYYYYYY CLEAR OF TURNER PEST CONTROL. Horrible business practices. They are deceptive about their billing to get you to sign up and they know it. telling you its a start up fee and then $50 a month .. they come out tri-annually and that you can cancel any time and stop payment anytime. Tried to cancel and theyre telling me that I have to continue my monthly payment through FEBRUARY to cover the last service that was completed.. it was never explained to me that each service was a set amount that was technically being financed over 4 months. I didnt even need nor want the service completed on November 2nd but figured I could just let them keep me on the schedule and cancel before the next billing cycle because I was already scheduled. Well jokes on me because letting them spray around my front door and bushes has cost me $169 and now Im stuck paying it for 3 more months!!! If I change my bank info they told me they will send it to collections. The reps I spoke to definitely know they are being deceptive. They have you sign a docusign thru email WHILE on the phone signing up so there is no thorough reading of the service agreement prior to signing. Do not take their word. I will never take a representatives word on what they say is what Im getting. The supervisor was no help either.Also the s*** isnt even worth it because its over priced and doesnt fix the issue to begin with ??????? spend your money on your own supplies to do pest control. Turner Pest control was hired treat a flea problem in my parents yard, only for them to experience more fleas after the treatment. Instead of rectifying the situation, we only received a "I'm sorry" which doesn't solve the situation at hand. Turner Pest control wants my parents to hire them to come out on a recurring visit, but why in the world would we hire them when they couldn't cure the initial problem. Very upset with the service that we received. Felt as if we just gave them money for nothing!Review from Marcelina B

Very dissatisfied with their service and cannot recommend... Someone came out once for a full cleanout for the interior and exterior (**** sq ft house and a 1.5 acre land) which took 15 minutes. The technician performed a quick 'service' and sat in the car for 45 minutes on his phone. My ***** problem was not eliminated or even decreased after that visit. In addition to that, I was told they do not have the equipment available to complete the initial service and would come back when it is in, but had no information or estimated time when it would be available. Of course I was not told about their lack of equipment until the tech was done with the first service. Why charge a full fee and offer incomplete services? I cancelled the services after that first visit, since it was a joke. I was also charged 3 separate fees totaling $641 and no refunds were made when I expressed my dissatisfaction. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Turner Pest Control and their poor services.Turner Pest Control Response

Was going to sign up with ************ who signed me up put my information on another clients account, including my debit card info. I then could see the other clients info on the online portal (address/phone #/service dates & what they paid). Called to get this fixed, & discuss why I was being charged more than double the rate the other client was paying for the same size **************** Was on hold and dealing w multiple reps for 53mins. Finally was able to speak to a manager by the name of *****, who was very helpful & gave me his cell phone to reach out so I wouldnt have to go through such a long hold ************* who didnt know how to do their job. Ended up going with a different company that does the same service (actually more thorough) for way less than TPC. When I contacted ***** he was irritated that I was going with a diff company, tried to persuade me to stay with them even though Id be spending $100 more per year, I told him I appreciate his kindness but I have to go with the best company I see fit. He continued to have an attitude & tell me hed reach out to whoever signed me up (although they never had me sign a contract) & then hed get back to me. He never did, so I texted ******** still didnt respond. These people will treat you good when theyre scamming you but if you try to end your service (even when theres no contract bc the sales person didnt do their job right) they treat you poorly or dont even process your cancellation & continue to charge you. This is a common theme if you look at the customer reviews here on the ******************** site. Wouldnt recommend at all. Also, just as others have shared, they will try to tell you that you have a problem you dont have and charge you a massive fee when signing up with *****, I shared how I might get one or two palmetto bugs in a year span, she then said you might have a ***** infestation, which will cost more when 1-2 dead bugs in a year is NORMAL in Fl. I believe this company committed fraud in my service.. I called for rodent control and was charged for rodent and full pest control. Someone came out and put two pieces of equipment in my garage and that was the last I heard from the company... I am being charged a start up fee and a service call fee that the company refuses to credit... My services were never started since I was never contacted by the company and the equipment they put in was never used (again because I was never contacted. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company.. If you use Turner Pest Control (again, this is my opinion based on my experience) you are wasting your moneyReview from Ferrell G

I contacted Turner Pest Control to pay my bill. I was in the process of selling/listing my home and mentioned to the rep that I did not want to auto-renew my account in six months. When it became apparent I was speaking to just a billing person, I left it with the phone representative, to JUST PROCESS THE PAYMENT. During our discussion I did not schedule an end date of service or schedule a future appointment to remove the termite stations I was paying for from my home. Days later, someone from Turner Pest Control showed up at my home unannounced and removed the stations without my authorization, and while I still owned the home. More importantly, they entered my property while I was at home, without my consent, and did not even ring the doorbell or contact me prior to or during their visit for my permission or confirmation it was OK to retrieve the termite stations for my home. I contacted the company immediately when I was made aware (from an email) that they prematurely removed the stations. The representatives and management I spoke with did not rectify the problem and were defensive, unapologetic, and disrespectful toward me. I feel violated and do not recommend ever doing business with this company.Turner Pest Control Response

After reviewing your account with the supervisors in your branch, we understand you did ask our billing representative to run a payment and she explained she doesnt handle the termite service and offered to reach out to the termite department to schedule a pickup of the system. You were provided a copy of the policy that was signed back on 11/03/21. This contract policy does explain once service is canceled, we must retrieve the system as you stated you already sold the home. Our sincere apologies for the technician not knocking at the door, he was under the impression the home was already sold. A request has been sent to the route supervisor to reach out to you. I made a huge mistake by signing with this company.I should have paid attention to the criticism of this company through the BBB. During the first visit, the technician took advantage of my helplessness, I was in a wheelchair. He walked around the house for a couple of minutes and left. After 10 days office called me and said that I had to pay for the next visit. I refused, saying that the ants continue to climb into my house and they first, according to the contract, must fix their work free for me When the technician came, I complained about the quality and the spending time . The technician got angry, said that he will show me GPS, according to which his car stood at my house for 2 hours. And he left. I did not see him again. There was no apology from the company .They brazenly deceived a paralyzed person. Unfortunately, the chase bank refuses to return the money to me, citing the impossibility of returning money for the signed contract. I dont understand why the bank colludes with crooks.
