    The owner of this business, Lisa A*****, rents property. She charges a good bit more than what the property is actually worth. I rented a house from her for 6 1/2 years. During that time, things would break, quit working, leak etc. I would call the office to report those things. Ms. A***** would send her maintenance man to "fix" them. He always did what I call a "shoddy" job, meaning he would repair them only to have them tear up again. When I moved in, the dishwasher leaked and there were mice and ants in the house. Her contract stated that the tenant was responsible for extermination of those pests. I paid for this service. In April, 2020, a tornado came through Seneca, SC. It tore shingles off the roof of the house I lived in along with damaging some trees in the yard. I called and reported the damage to the office manager. Absolutely nothing was done. A neighbor used his time to clean up the tree damage. The roof began to leak. When I called to report this, the "maintenance man" came out and put tar around the nails. That did not solve the problem. I called again, threatening to report Ms. A***** and she sent someone out to place tarps on the roof. The tarps are still on the roof 1 1/2 years later. She told me that her "maintenance man" was going to replace the roof. The garage door came off the track when I was moving in. I paid to have it repaired. a couple of years later, it did the same thing. Her "maintenance man" said it would have to be replaced as the frame was bent. It still doesn't work. The ceiling fans in the living room stopped working shortly after I moved in. I reported that at the time they stopped working. She hasn't had those repaired either. A firefighter friend told me that the ceiling fans could cause a fire if someone accidentally turned on the switch and that they would possibly condemn the house because of that. My husband and I were the only tenants so we were careful not to turn on the switch. I lived in the house from February 2015 until October 2021. The only items that Ms. A***** had repaired or replaced were the water heater, dishwasher, and toilet. The roof still has tarps on it, the ceiling fans haven't been repaired and the garage door hasn't been replaced. A lady that lives in the neighborhood offered to buy the house so she could remodel it and live there. Ms. A***** said she wasn't selling and that she was going to continue to rent it out. I have everything documented that went wrong while I was living in the house.

    I’m very disappointed in Ms. *********’s review and comments. Ms. ********* did rent from me for 6 plus years and during those 6 years, I never raised her rent. I helped her when her husband was ill. I’m only going to say that many of the issues were resolved and others were caused by the tenant. If Ms. ********* was so unhappy, why did she ask to stay and plead to stay even when the lease had expired. I pride myself in being very fair. I have been in business for 20 years and I am saddened by Ms. *********’s comments. But I respect her opinion and will not rebuttal or say anything negative. I wish her well.
