I was a patient with a managed care organization that used a company called Navvis to manage our health records. Along with thousands of other people, I recently received notice that our personal information, including SSN and DOB, was stolen from Navvis . . . and I was offered free identity protection through IDX (aka MyIDCare, aka ZeroFox. I tried to enroll, but couldn't complete the process because this data "protection" company, run by data protection "experts" couldn't find a way to get an email delivered to either of the email addresses I provided to them. (I was supposed to receive a message asking me to confirm my email address.) However, I DID receive several other IDX emails, to both of my two email addresses (a satisfaction survey (!), and marketing messages). . . but never any of the ones I needed to receive in order to complete setting up my IDX account. I've used my email account for YEARS, and send/receive hundreds of messages without any problem. These idiots claim that their system shows all of the messages delivered/opened on my end . . . but they were not. (And no, in answer to the obvious question they asked me: They were never in my Spam or Trash folders.) Never have I experienced anything as absurd and unbelievably inept as this. I'm not tech-phobic or tech-ignorant. They told me what address they'd be using to reach me, and I added that address to my Contacts list (just to be 100% sure that their message wouldn't go to Spam). I reviewed all of my filtered and blocked email addresses, and theirs was NOT among them.[I would give zero stars, but we must give at least one.]Review from Susan C

I would give zero stars if possible. I have called 3 times over the course of 1.5 weeks and gotten the run around each time. They claim they are only enrollment people and cannot help with glitches on their website (I tried two different phone numbers) that prevent me from enabling monitoring service I am supposed to get for free because my data was hacked. I have not gotten a call back from an escalated ticket and was offered again today to escalate a ticket and that is all the gentleman could do for me. Very frustrating company to deal with on top of having my data stolen! I feel sorry for the people answering the phone as the call center has too much background noise and they are not given the tools or resources needed to meet the needs of the callers.Review from Sonia G

The website seems to have a glitch. I contacted, or tried contacting, them multiple times via 2 different customer service emails and 1 phone number. I never got through on the line, and no responses ever came toy inbox or spam folder.Review from Mark T

MyIDCare was great at alerting me of someone using my Social Security Number back in Feb 2022, but that was all. They did a third party call with the collection agency and got everything taken care of or that what I was told. I asked for information that created this claim and told I am not allowed it (why did agent not know FCRA Section 609(e) requires it to be released to me?). About 1.5 years later I hear from another collection company for the same thing. I called MyIDCare and open case ******** and was told by the Restoration agent there was nothing they could, since there is nothing showing on my credit report yet, I asked to talk to a manager and was told she not on until tomorrow. I asked to have a manager call me about four weeks ago and nothing yet. It appears there Restoration agents are good at putting band-aids on but not solving the issue. I went to an **** store and they gave me a number to call, so filling a fraud claim with them. FTC Identity Theft was more help in guiding me how to get to the ******* **** not just get collection agency off your back. MyIDCare should go farther, having victim Open a fraud report with company, getting reports the company has the caused the issue, guiding you to open FTC report. They are non-responsive. Changing your basic information from the website is impossible and they only give you one way of contacting them by phone. When you call, they are always busy.Review from Christin S

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with IDX, and more specifically, my account manager, ****. The whole ID ******************** process had been beyond stressful prior to contacting IDX. I was truly at my ****-end. **** not only took care of anything and everything to remediate all my fraud issues, but he was so kind and reassuring which was exactly what I needed at just that moment. It was so easy on my end because **** told my exactly what he needed from me and said he would handle all the rest- and he did. For the first time in over a year I completely forgot that I had been a victim of ID ******************** and all the headaches that come with it. It is not an over exaggeration to say that bringing IDX into the equation (aka ****) literally improved my mental well being. I couldnt be more appreciative or recommend them highly enough.Review from Lindsey S

I was recommended this company by a family friend who was a victim of Id ********************. I did have some concerns regarding the services outlined on the website and the level of customer service received when I first called in for additional assistance. I did request a supervisor call back because I had paid for a full year membership and did not feel that the initial rep I spoke to lacked empathy for my situation and willingness to assist. Huge disappointment! That being said, the supervisor that called me back, *************************, handled the situation with the upmost respect and ultimate concern for my individual situation. He was patient, empathetic, and very respectful of my feelings. He offered to make things right, but also was respectful when I declined. He reassured me that if I ever reconsidered utilizing their services again that I could reach out to him directly. He is the epitome of excellent customer service and leadership skills.
