In July 2017, BBB investigated Signature Shutters' business practices.
BBB received an influx of complaints from consumers alleging that this business may: fail to ensure shutters fit appropriately; fail to provide services in a timely manner; repeatedly reschedule appointments; and fail to respond to customer inquiries. BBB interviewed one complainant who was able to provide more information.Research conducted found that the business was not required to be licensed in their industry. And that the business website on file was no longer active. When contacted by phone, a business representative was unable to provide a new web address. Additionally, BBB was unable to confirm the business' physical location. A virtual visit to the address on file revealed the business address at 3440 W. Lewis Ave Phoenix AZ 85009 was located in a manufacturer business complex; there were no indications the business was operating out of this location.
BBB contacted Signature Shutters regarding these business practice concerns. The business did not respond to our letters of concern nor the majority of their complaints.
