Apparently the sewage has to be backed up in the house and nothing working in order to file a claim. Documented orangeburg pipes that were rotted out after 70 years. Guy came in, flushed the toilet said looks good to me and left! All those years paying for this insurance its a giant scam. Dont spend your moneyReview from William W

DO NOT trust this company. After 18 months of dealing with the representatives lies and inept knowledge of their own coverage, I was instructed to find my own contractor to do the repairs to my home because no contractor was willing to work with this company. I live in ***, a city with no shortage of contractors. I was PROMISED by a customer service supervisor that I would be refunded once I produced a ‘Paid in Full’ receipt. Four months later, they still haven’t refunded my money. Their reasoning is that I didn’t use a contractor in their system. Unbelievable!! And, no legal services are available to me because the $2,500 they owe me isn’t enough money to justify a lawyer’s time. They bank on this to deny payment and essentially rob their own customers. I CAN NOT review this company more poorly. They are terrible people!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

HORRIBLE. I waited three days for an emergency call (no toilet) to get answered. Pooped in a box for three days. Worst service I have ever received.Service Line Warranties of America Response

On March 21, 2024, I called the repair service department to report that my toilet was gurgling, and the sound could be heard through my bathtub. Ticket #1 was filed under my exterior policy, and I was scheduled for March 26, The plumber determined that the problem was a clogged vent, which could only be fixed by snaking it out from the roof. This is an interior problem, so I had to contact HomeServe to reschedule with the repair department. On March 28, ticket # 2, a different company was sent out under the interior policy. They tried snaking out the toilet, but it did not work. They also determined that the problem was a clogged vent, but they could not fix it. On March 29, ticket #3 they wanted to snake out the toilet again. I told them that the previous company had snaked the toilet and that the other two plumbers stated it was a clogged vent. The plumber stated this was their company's protocol, so I asked what would be done if it didn't work. ***********************, said he would go out and purchase a ladder to clear the vent. After hearing that I refused this service because I believed they were not prepared to unclog the vent.This has cost me time and money and the problem is still not fixed.Service Line Warranties of America Response

I pay for six home warranties with Service Line. I have used them twice for home repairs with no problem. However, this past week I had a bad experience with the company they sent to check my water heater. Against my protests, the plumber from Superior Facility Services LLC insisted on coming to look at my water heater the evening before the scheduled appointment knowingly in bad weather i.e. there were tornadoes, thunderstorms, and flash flooding happening. Once he looked at my water heater, the plumber said that it was not leaking that much and could have it repaired the next day; he just had to see what the insurance company would cover. I told him that I had a $1,000 limit with the insurance company but that should cover any repairs or replacements. I had already priced water heaters i.e., I could get one for less than $1,000, and the installation should not be that much. However, the plumber said I would probably be out of $700-$900 over the $1,000. Sure enough, he quoted the cost of replacing my water heater as $2200+!!! Clearly, this is price gouging! Superior Facility Services LLC should be banned. I did research and the national average to replace a water heater is $1,400. I complained to Service Line and asked for another company to come and give me an estimate or give me $1,000 and I would purchase a water heater myself and get a licensed plumber to install it. I was told that the plumber's estimate would be reviewed, and I would get a call from Service Line. Have not heard anything yet. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of. I pay for my warranties in good faith and in return expect to receive fair and competitive pricing. Superior Facilities Service LLC are shysters. I am disabled and on a fixed income and this is what you all send to me!!!Service Line Warranties of America Response

We called at 10:00 AM and a plumber was at our home that afternoon. We thought it would be at least the next day but they were very prompt and got our sewer cleared.Service Line Warranties of America Response

I have been a customer for many years and not had a problem with my water line until last summer. I contacted SLWof A. They were helpful in confirming the claim. I called a local plumber who did the repairs for $475.00 which I thought was very reasonable. When I sent the information to get reimbursed, I received a call from SLWofA saying that they would not be paying me because I didn't contact a plumber that they recommend I use. The person who I spoke to about the claim did not mention that so I was shocked to hear I would not be reimbursed. I also have nothing in writing that states that.
