I contacted NCCRM for local monitoring during an *** cycle. I spoke with ******, who told me they were in network with my insurance, Aetna, and they would require cash payment up front, then they would file with my insurance. I would be reimbursed if my insurance covered it. My first appointment was 10/3/22. I had an ultrasound and bloodwork. I was charged $610 on my credit card. They filed with my insurance. My insurance covered the claims. My next appointment was 10/25/22. I had an ultrasound & 2 sets of bloodwork. This time the charges were close to $800, but they told me I had a credit of $590 on my account and applied this credit, so my balance was $169.55 This time, they filed one set of bloodwork with my insurance, but they did not file the other 2 claims. I reached out to them multiple times in Nov., *********** over phone, email. I also called Aetna multiple times. I couldn't get anyone at NCCRM to help me resolve the situation. I finally asked them to provide me with paperwork so I could file the claim with ***** myself. I filed it on 2/6/23. ***** denied the claim, saying it's out of network because NCCRM used the wrong tax ID number on this claim. The tax ID number they used is different than the one they used on the 10/3/2022 claims submitted that were covered. I reached out to NCCRM again, and asked them to refile with insurance using the correct tax ID number. Now ********************** is telling me they used an incorrect tax ID number for the 10/3/2022 claim and the 10/25/2022 claim is correct. This is all very sketchy to me. In my initial conversations with them, they never told me they were out of network with *****. I provided my insurance information to them up front. If they were indeed out of network, I would have never gone there. Ultimately, they have lied to me and are trying to take advantage of me in this situation, which is shameful given how emotional and hard the *** process is.
