It pressured me to call a toll-free number (888-706-5161) or click a malicious hyperlink disguised as a phone number (469-982-5000) to listen to a fake voicemail recording. They sent a deceiving letter to my mom saying she had a warranty with them on her car and she must call with her VIN & mileage before 9/3/26 otherwise she loses protection. They got her on the phone and got her car information and credit card number but her credit card company caught it as fraud & the payment was stopped but then they pushed the payment for the 1st months installment through a 2nd time. We reported both as fraud to the bank & the funds were refunded, but because the 2nd payment initially was pending, they sent over account information even though we told them over the phone we were reporting them as fraud & to remove my mom's information. They continue to call and ask for payment. This is predatory business practices as my mom is a senior citizen & false advertising because we were never a customer of theirs.

received an email offering employment. terms of pay were strange as was the actual job description. about the job: position name: shipping quality checker. a link in email takes to website with an embedded video. video states the employer would send shipping boxes, markers, tapes, bubble wraps, etc. to the employee's residence. a packages would arrive at the employee's residence or sometimes a post office in which the employee would have to pickup the package, open it, take a picture showing the product is undamaged, create a copy for paperwork, then re-pack the product to be shipped to one of their centers. receive 10-15 packages a week, work about 3 hours a day. first salary to be disbursed after 4 weeks of employment, then every 2 weeks afterwards. stated salary would be $4100 a month + $40 bonus for every package sent out on time. which would make average salary $5200 monthly. also earn additional $75 on initial 5 packages and an additional $250 dollars for working without mistakes and delays. they have not contacted me for my ID or anything else as of yet

My phone rang but not recognizing the number called out by my Caller ID phone, I let it go to Voice mail. I then listened to the message. A male voice which did not identify itself announced MY name very robotically & slowly said my account is now seriously overdue and is now about to be escalated to a more serious level. *Not once did this caller give a reference as to what company he was calling on behalf of, any "amount due" or anything that would make me believe I have an overdue bill of any sort. He continued that my "account" was now going to move up for an account review or words to that affect and it's very important that I call back between 9 AM and 6 PM Eastern Standard Time and ask for Jason Mitchell or any of our account representatives. My "reference number is: LVSTZV (or B-hard to tell on the message) 31763. I have no idea what this nonsense refers to. I have no outstanding accounts other than a medical bill I'm making payments on, but they would have identified themselves. I know this is just another scam spam call and made sure to block it on both my Call Blocker unit and my phone. I don't know who is getting my phone numbers as I am registered to the Do Not Call Registry and have been for both my landline, which this call was made to and my cell phone for over 25 years. Seems I get calls like this every week and I'm getting really tired of them.
