Just don't go here. You want to go to a real school that actually cares about your finances and education then look elsewhere. The school apparently received $7,000 from my fasfa which I find interesting because when I applied it only said they were going to get $2,000. Where did the extra $5,000 come from?Next in the list of things they said the money was going to is a upright lie. In the list it said food, housing, transportation and many other things but when I came into office asking if I can have a 30 day bus pass they told me to write a form explaining the whole detail about why I needed one they denied me a 30 day pass and only gave me a 15 day bus pass because a 30 day bus pass is too expensive. Then when I came in and asked about the passes they were upright rude to me and said I'm not allowed to get another bus pass for the rest of the semester without giving me a real reason why. But wait, there's more! I had set up a automatic payment with my credit card and they decided to charge my account 4 times, twice for $60 then another two times for $120 which caused my bank to freeze my account. So I have to pay manually now and that's also a bad idea! Because everytime I come in to pay the merchant won't give the financial department monet until after the 10 day grace ****** so I have late fees I was unaware of until I had to call in regards the late fee. We do not get ********** not have transportation and they hire a racist ex marine who's already in retirement age harass us whenever we speak out. I have wasted my time my money and my knowledge at this school and all hope for the education system here in ******* (yes all of North America) is gone.

I attended UEI for approximately a year. I completed my schooling and my externship But the school refuses to help me with job placement. This college is misleading and they harrass you by calling you to get you to sign up. They give you misleading information to get you to go to there college. I believe I have been discriminated against and taken advantage for financial aid. I now have to pay for a degree I can not get a job in that field.

I Graduated nearly a century ago and have been trying to get my transcripts for that long. Finally I paid again to get them recently in August 2023 and haven't gotten anything back. I have sent follow up emails nearly every week and left messages. It is Now November 2023. I haven't gotten a response from any of the emails or messages I have sent. They was really quick to respond to tell me I had to pay for them again but now nothing. I can't get anyone on the line and I have several Job opportunities that have come and go because your transcript is required. I am missing out on future opportunities because of their neglect and negligence. I don't owe any money or have other responsibilities to them. I just want my transcripts. That's all. This shouldn't be so hard to retrieve. It's been 3 months now. Over 4-6 weeks as they mentioned in the email and phone recordings. The least they can do is call me back or send a response to let me know what the deal is. I can't continue to be denied/turned down for positions because I have no transcripts to show. I don't want to have to proceed legally.

I attended UEI for approximately a year and a half. I completed my schooling and my externship. I was even hired once I completed my 250 hours of externship. But the school refuses to give me my diploma because I still owe them money. I was told I had 10 years after employment to pay them off, but now that I'm unemployed, they continue to harass me on a daily for money. I can't get a new job without my credentials.

I believe I have been discriminated against and taken advantage for financial aid. I keep calling asking how to unenroll but I am being told the only way is to just stop coming and be dropped after I was discriminated against by one of the teachers/staff. I enrolled feb 2022 and on march 8 decided I no longer wanted to attend because the instructor I felt was not giving me what I needed as far as learning. Come to find out I was being treated this way because she said I show up smelling like marijuana, mind you I show up participate and complete all assignments. Please get to know or meet and research your instructor first.

I went back in 2018. UEI is a scam! My teacher *********************** was an unfit teacher who spent most of her time yelling at us. I spent $20,000 on my program and paid it all off. They still call me to this day asking me to pay back what I owe. For my externship my counselor sent me to a place and after a week the doctor did not want me to extern their anymore. I told my teacher and she thought it was my fault and started yelling at me over the phone. Every time I would call my counselor ******************************* she would put me on hold or ignore my calls. I would try to go to her office after class and she would be busy with other students. The main boss *************************** (the sister of ********....nepotism) treats the students like nicely until they miss school for emergencies or doctor's ************* They expect you to quit your current job in order to do school and externship. If you miss a day they call you down to the office and you meet with ****** and have to tell her why you were absent, sign a couple papers, and tell her you won't miss a day again. As long as your **** is in a seat they are getting paid. The company gets paid per student attendance. Even if you got in a car accident and limp all the way to your UEI Campus, they expect you to sit down and shut up. Unfortunately, I had trouble with my externship and they decided to not hire me. I quit my long term job in order to extern and was fresh out of luck. When I called my teacher **** for help she said she couldn't help me. Even when I went back to the UEI campus no one wanted to help me. They said they were busy with new students and to come again another day.UEI is a joke. They put on these holiday parties and honorary parties but it's a money scheme. If you want a real degree that can help you, then you are better off going to a community college and paying less.

I am a current student here. I can tell you that the current situation for veterans here is abhorrent. The teachers are amazing, but the office staff is negligent at best. Part of my income is from going to school. The VA supplements my income so that I can go to school full time. The kicker is that the school needs to certify your attendance. Out of the 7 months that Ive been going to school, they have certified my attendance correctly 3 times. I have had issues every other month. At first they tried to blame the VA but all signs pointed to their neglect. Now it is Christmas and I am midway through a module and they still havent certified my attendance. Meaning I will be hundreds of dollars short this month right before Christmas. You talk to anyone in the financial aid office and they are clueless to answer any questions. They refer you to ************, who is a nice guy, but has no control over anything either. He blames corporate. You call corporate and then no one answers. Its funny because Ive seen them pull students out of class for owing money to the school , but when it comes to them doing their part, theyre absent. DO NOT GO HERE if you are a vet. ALSO, I was told Id be in a hybrid program. Thats why I signed up. 2 days in campus, and 2 days online. They changed that too because they failed a VA audit. So now vets have to come in 4 days, and they defaulted on that hybrid promise as well.

This school is not a good choice if you are serious about your education. I was looking for a accounting degree, their idea of accounting is a glorified receptionist job. Promises of one thing then once paperwork signed you get something completely different. I was already a registered tax preparer why would I want a receptionist job or intern for 8hrs with no pay for someone else when I was already self employed?Be smart and choose another school your just gonna owe for something not asked for.

In her review, ****************** states I was looking for an accounting degree, their idea of accounting is a glorified receptionist job. ****************** further states that she was already a registered tax preparer and therefore the program was not geared to her level of experience.Due to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), we are unable to respond with full details regarding the specifics of ******************** claim. As ****************** submitted her review to the Better Business Bureaus (BBBs) public page, we cannot respond in detail in this forum to protect ******************** privacy regarding her situation. Therefore, we are providing a general informational response to add context to ******************** claims. While ****************** contends that she desired an Accounting degree, it should be noted that the *********************** Program (***) ****************** refers to is a diploma program, not a degree program. The *** program was an eight-module program that typically was completed within 34 to 40 weeks and covers basic accounting principles, Excel and office administration/customer service. The purpose of this diploma program is to provide education for the graduate to obtain an entry level position within a business environment. By contrast, an Accounting degree program would run a minimum of two years for an Associate Degree, or four years for a Bachelor Degree. All prospective students are provided a School Catalog which lists the programs and the level of proficiency gained (diploma) upon graduation. The enrollment agreement also provided to the student at the time of enrollment clearly states the program and achievement level upon graduation. As such, it is the prospective students responsibility to ensure that they enroll into a program that best fits their educational and achievement level goals.

If you are considering attending this college. Please dont . From my personal experience their program is not as informative, efficient or help you obtain a career in the medical field. They will not assist you at all as they promise. They care about collecting their money and that is it. I spoke to their president ****** not helpful and could care less about my complaints. She was rude and lied about contacting me multiple times to offer me a job, when I asked what number they had on file she proceeded to say there was 31 calls made . Which I responded if they were recorded on my file I needed a copy of those records to this point I have not received any documentation. I was never contacted as they said , not once did I even received a notice at home. I could go into detail of how horrible my experience was. Paid out of pocket for this program for nothing . A complete scam!
