              Drake Mech is the best in the Valley! From their scheduling team to their technicians. I have had **** help me with plumbing issues, He is informative, kind and helpful in a what would have been an otherwise stressful situation. I love the Drake Mech Family!

              I've had Drake (namely ****** and ******, both times) install a water softener AND replace my residential water heater. They were on time, and accomplished the tasks in single visits, and I was impressed with the quality of materials (and worksmanship) they used, especially when I could easily compare it to the old water heater being replaced, which was also done by a supposedly quality contractor when the house was built. It was simply better quality work and parts - not to mention I am very pleased with the brands they offered me on both units. No cutting corners here. They were quick but spent enough time to make sure it was done right, and with care. ****** and ****** make a good team and glad to hear they are still working together.

              I had been using Drake for a number of years and during the last couple of years my furnace was periodically failing to light. Last year when one of their techs came to look at it he said that the electrical board was not telling him what the error codes were and didn't seem to be too alarmed. He cleaned it and it mostly worked fine for the rest of the season. At the end of December the furnace was still acting up and I wanted them to look at it again because the holidays were a week away. The same tech came and looked at it and said "the red light on the panel isn't on when it should be" and looked at other stuff and decided it was a $600 part that was the most likely cause - not the panel - and installed it. He got it to run and I thought it was fixed. Within 5 days the whole thing completely stopped working. I called for emergency help on a Saturday and was told they had no one available. So I called someone else. They tool a look, saw the same issue with the panel light, pulled the board off and found a big scorch ***** When I finally got a hold of someone at Drake I told them I wanted my money back from the repair they made. They said that because they couldn't come look at the furnace (before I had it replaced) that they couldn't verify anything. It worked for a few days after they left, so they were not responsible. If their tech saw the problem with the panel and then decided to replace something else, and it did end up being the panel, how is that not poor service???? They are supposed to be experts but can't put 2 and 2 together? Or admit when they did a bad job. Oh and I called to complain the day before my new system was supposed to be installed. 1- no one told me that I should have them come look at it to verify what I said 2 - they told me the owner would call me back but I had to wait two weeks and call them again. Her response: "Oh I guess you didn't get my message" - my cell phone showed no calls from them, let alone a message.

              Drake Mechanical did go out on site a couple of times to respond to the customers issue, the first one we did discount the rate for the customer as she wanted to have us try to just get the unit by for as long as possible despite our recommendations of replacement over a year ago. Once again when arrived on site for the other issue were requested to do our best to fix the issue with the furnace and we did. Our tech once again recommended that a replacement would be best, but a fix was requested. Our tech fixed the issue,and it was up and working for five days with no issues at all. The customer did call after hours and yes, we did not have an HVAC tech available that evening but one first thing Monday morning. Monday morning our dispatcher called to get our tech out and the customer declined the service and said that they had bought a new system over the weekend from another company and that they were waiting for it to be installed later in the week. Did decline to refund the customer for a couple of reasons, the system did work for almost one week, we had explained to the customer for almost two years that they really needed a new system but they declined our recommendations, and once another company starts working on parts that we have installed who or how are we to know what it is that they have done or that they are just not trying to get the customer to spend more money and make other companies look back.

              Service Mgr unprofessional on phone, laughing at my idea of what is an emergency. Only has 3 plumbers. No emergency back up. Did not properly fix faucets twice.

              The customer called into our office, for a leaking shower valve that had an issue before. When we had been on site before the customer was aware that they had an adjacent shut-off valve and that it could be shut off until we were able to arrive to stop the leak. When the customer called in that morning we already had several customers that day with plumbing emergencies that were actually flooding their homes and we were just not able to walk off a current job site for a leaking shower valve that was leaking directly into the customer's shower. When the customer was offered by our service manager that she could be placed on stand-by for that day or we would have a plumber at her home at 8 am the following day, that was not acceptable to her and stated to our service manager that she had to work the next morning so that would not work with her schedule. It was explained to her that it was impossible for us to pull off actual floods from other customers and that 8 am would be the best we would be able to do. We did try to work with the customer to get her taken care of but she was unwilling to work around any scheduling options that we could provide.
