I called 24/7 Locksmith because my 87 year old dad was locked out of his bedroom. The woman on the phone quoted me $40 to come out and open the bedroom door. The tech came out and used a device which resembled a blood pressure cuff. He inflated the device and popped the door open. This tech was honestly in my home at the most 10 minutes. He handed me a hand held machine to pay and sign. $415! I was in shock but I paid it in the hopes to not get dad upset as he just suffered his 2nd stroke. I immediately called the business and was continually hung up on. Within a few days I finally got someone to answer the phone and asked to speak to a manager. I've been waiting ever since. I was told that the tech also charged me for a lock he didn't install (I did that myself) I requested an invoice and finally received one last week. It's a very incomplete and vague invoice. The price I was quoted was significantly lower than the price I was charged. They clearly took advantage of me and elderly father in my desperate situation. I have yet to hear from this dishonest and deceitful company.
