In December of 2019 they installed 5 mini split units and 2 compressors. They were out numerous times from day 1 because one compressor and the 2 wall units connected were always having problems. It would freeze solid. They said it was from rain, or wind, or I needed a new thermostat. The other compressor with 3 units attached is right next to it and did not have this issue. One technician had to come out and sit with a propane tank and an insulation barrier for around 6 hors to defrost the compressor. I did not even use this in the 21-22 winter because of the problems wth it, I used my coal furnace. With coal being hard to get where I live I tried it again this year, and it's freezing again. This last summer I also had someone look at my basement because it was getting wet where it has never before, well they cut the drain pipe in the ground when they dug to put the compressors in and just used black tape to try and fix, which obviously didn't hold and now water comes in below the units. I spent $20,000 for a system I can't use. I want to warn others before they waste their money.
