      I received a notice to renew my subscription for People Magazine on 2/13/23. I sent a check for $89.98. I recently received another notice and I started to think I was receiving a lot of them so I looked back I had already renewed 4 times this year. I now have a subscription which is good through **** according to People Mag. They said I could cancel any time by calling the 3rd party seller. I contacted the phone number provided by ******* at People Mag and no one returns calls left at that number.I have requested a refund and no one calls back. I would like a refund. I see it says Pacific Magazine is no longer sending renewal notices or solicitations, but I would like a refund if the amount paid. People Magazine should also stop allowing renewals through 3rd party sellers. It turns out I have 1 renewal with this vendor and 3 with other vendors. Based on my conversation with *******, they are aware this is a problem. It benefits them so they overlook it and hand out useless phone numbers to make it seem like theyre not complicit.

      I'm contacting BBB on behalf of my 93-year father, *******************. Pacific Magazine Billing LLC for fraudulent business practices. My father sent them a check for $193 for the Economist magazine in January 2023. After three months and no magazine deliveries I contacted Pacific Magazine by phone four times and only got an answering service. I demanded a refund and cancelled the subscription on behalf of my dad and he finally got a refund several months later. However, the next month, weekly copies of the Economist started arriving even though we had cancelled the subscription. Pacific Magazine is now sending my father invoices every few weeks for a magazine subscription that he cancelled and did not order. Attempts to reach the company by phone do not work since there is only an answering service and they do not take messages. Their e-mail address is inoperable.It is clear that Pacific Magazine Billing LLC is engaged in fraudulent business practices. I will be sending the San Diego County District Attorney a letter as well about this company operating in their jurisdiction committing that is committing fraud. It is likely this fraud is widescale as I have reviewed the BBB reviews of this company and they are very negative and others have had similar complaints about fraudulent billing practices. BBB has given this company an "F" and is well earned based on our experience. Please include this complaint in your summary about Pacific Magazine LLC.

      Pacific Magazine has stopped sending all mailing offers to all customers as of Feb. 2023. This individual should no longer be receiving ANY mailers from our company. Please send a copy of what you're currently receiving to verify it is in fact from PMB. As for our email address.       On March 13,2022, I sent check # **** for $89.00 to Pacific Magazine Billing, thinking it was an outsourced billing company for People Magazine. I also sent check # **** on 12/30/2022 for another $89.00 for People Magazine once again. I had previously paid for subscriptions directly to People Magazine in the past, but i believe i had come across something that offered the magazine at a discounted rate, and this was the invoice received for that. I did not receive any magazines from these payments. My legitimate subscription ended, and I received nothing for these 2 payments. I would like to be refunded for these 2 payments.

      I received a bill for my Fine Woodworking subscription from *** for $89.95 in Oct 2022. Thinking the company outsourced their billing, I paid it with CK **** on Oct 14, and it was cashed on Oct 25, 2022. Just today I received the REAL bill from the REAL company, ************** I verified with them that they did not receive or cash my check, then I googled *** and read about the billing scam. I cannot find a working phone number and am turning to you for help obtaining a refund for $89.95. Thank you so much.

      As stated on our offer material, we are an independent 3rd party. We utilize clearinghouses to fulfill order requests. There is a phone number listed on every mailer piece in the upper right hand corner beneath our remittance address. There are customer ********************** representatives on standby.

      A check for $232.45 was sent and cashed in Oct 2022 and still I have not received any People Magazine issues. I have email customer **********************, and have had no response. Have not been able to reach anyone by phone.

      As stated on our offer, we are an independent 3rd party. We utilize clearing houses to fulfill order requests. These order take up to 12 weeks to process and ship. This order was placed at the end of January 2023 and is still within the specified 12 week period. As this individual has requested a refund, a full refund will be processed. Additionally, this individual will be permanently removed from our mailing list.

      On December 5, more than thirteen weeks ago, i mailed checks to *** Magazine billing to renew my subscriptions for The New Yorker and Vanity Fair magazines. I still have not begun to receive the issues to which i am entitled. I would like the issues to which i am entitled, both past and ongoing, to be delivered immediately.

      I paid for a yearly subscription to Penthouse and have not received this magazine.Recently, I received a solicitation from this company for Penthouse Letters magazine. I did not respond to the 2nd solicitation.

      This order was in process. We have cancelled it at the customer's request. Our offer material states that offers take 12 weeks to ship and arrive. Additionally, this individual has been removed from all future mailings.
