My in-laws booked a sight as a present for my wife and I. The days leading up to our stay the weather forecast called for freezing temperatures and rain. We tried calling Tentrr to move the dates or cancel. Their cancellation policy states that it should be done within 5 days of your stay. Vrbo states 72 hours before your stay. I called before the 72 hours before our stay. They informed me that moving the dates or canceling was not available and the only way that I could cancel is if the local authorities announced a severe weather alert. I called the State Park itself and they informed me that the site was not booked for the next few weekends and they could move the dates for a fee. Vrbo which Tentrr uses to actually book the site also said they would move the dates for free. Tentrr refused to move or cancel even though we called within the time frame and we had a legitimate reason for wanting to move the dates. DO NOT USE TENTRR TO BOOK ANYTHING!! They do not care about their tenants. The State park where the tent is actually located and Vrbo were willing to move the dates considering the weather conditions. The lack of empathy and understanding make this company a horrible fit for helping with camping reservations, something that should be relaxing and stress free.
