    I rented a car from drive over rent a car I purchased insurance from travel guard I was told that the name was AIG travel while returning their car January 25 2024 there were two scratches the size of a quarter on the trunk I was not aware of that! The agent from the rental company noticed it at. Drive for rent a car at JFK's and said they was going to file a claim. AIG travels said I had to show proof that I drove 100 miles I said I don't know if I I can find proof of that I was unaware that paying $11 a day $88 for a week which is not cheap insurance for a rental car that it would require for me to drive 100 miles with proof I drove 100 miles I just didn't have proof they will not cover me but I paid them $144 for 3 weeks throughout the times I needed the car so I am being told that I am responsible for $997 due to the two scratches on the back trunk of the car I rented this car from driver rent a car and bought the insurance online I did not see anywhere it said that it was travel insurance but when I went to go pick up the car I ask the representative what is the difference between buying the insurance online and purchases the insurance and the representative told me it's just ours is much more I was told that it's $30 a day which is ridiculous he did not say that online if you purchase the insurance you're only covered for travel and their travel insurance means you have to not only drive 100 miles but you have to show proof of this I did drive over 100 MIles but I did not know of the incident and I definitely could not show proof of it I thought that was really ridiculous and that's what I should have been told when I purchased the car that if something happens and I pull off the lot I am not covered until I drive 100 miles and show proof. So I call *************************** who handles the cases for *** and she said she just became aware of this policy a couple of months ago then I called drivo rent a car and asked to speak to the manager and he said this is the first he heard and kept trying to explain that it's not on them and I explained that it is because it's their car and you can't recommend an insurance company that does not cover the car it makes no sense the manager kit ******* at ****************************************************************************************** said the proof is in the mileage that I drove 100 miles I said they don't care about that they want a receipt or something I agree that the receipt is in the mouth that I drove which is on the car but that was not acceptable and the two scratches on the car was not even worth that amount of money it all just seemed very suspicious to me

    No response after filed claim. Wife called the said been denied. Told her email sent April 21 Nothing found looking back. She asked that day to resend they said they will. Still havent got. Also said underwriter would call us never did. Will never buy from them again. Was only a $1200 claim Buy looks of post a lot of people getting screwed
