I do not post positive or negative reviews unless I am 100% positive about what I say. That being said, I have tried using Broadjam over the past few years. While the site has been great for meeting likewise musicians and contacts (which in all honesty I can get on ******** and do for free) the site has been horrendous to downright fraudulent when it comes to what they are charging people for. And I am not some disgruntled 'musician' with ****** songs that just never got picked. On the contrary, I have had three songs get selected from the 'Opps' they post and all three of them ended the same exact way which is what has caused me to write this review. The first one after being selected stated as I quote: "Hello. I have selected and downloaded ---------. I'll be sending this song to the music supervisor of several different sports TV shows. If your song gets used in one of their shows, it will show up on your royalty statement. Please send me song information in the following format and please be SPECIFIC with songwriter and publishing percentage splits if applicable!"First off I have music in multiple libraries and everywhere my music is I have had to sign a detailed contract for the song. Red Flag number 1 The second song that was "picked" was for the song to be a part of *********** catalog. Again, no contract was ever sent nor did I ever hear anything after being picked despite NUMEROUS attempts to reach out for more information. After a third song was "picked" with the same exact scenario playing out that's when I decided to no longer give this site a dime of my money as clearly it's ********. There are no sets of checks and balances put into place meaning that us musicians are just supposed to take this companys' word for it that they are doing what they claim to be doing. Well, I'm here to tell everyone that they ARE NOT and quite frankly I am considering filing a suit to get all of the money that I paid for back as what they do is FRAUD again FRAUD!Review from Carolyn M

A scam. We have worked in the industy for decades and have top quality recordings (even by their metrics) have placed songs and won contests...but not through Broadjam. They just suck the money out of keen artists and give nothing back. They know how to keep you on the hook but ultimately no real opportunities here. The fact is its all who you know in this biz so go out for coffee with someone who is successful and keep trying in the real world. this aint it.

Since we could not find a current or past member with the reviewers name or email address, its difficult to respond to the specific nature of the comment. They may have used different contact information when registering.We never guarantee success for anyone, but do have a list of success stories posted on our website along with many pros who work with us and review music. Broadjam, and other services like ours, are for those looking to build their industry network and connect with other musicians worldwide. We agree that if one has direct relationships to advance their career, they should go that route.We would offer to have a conversation with this person and do our best to make it right. I CAN'T "DELETE" MY ACCOUNT at all, there is no place to do this and I can't get a Real Person!If I'd known I could not "Close The Account" I would have never Joined in the first place.All I get is a lot of E-mails for things that have nothing to do with what I thought it was and now I can't close it and end this.Broadjam Inc. Our policy is to answer all customer service inquiries within one business day. Since we receive less than 5 phone calls per week, we do not staff a full-time operator.
