Prolonged Repair. I put my car in the shop on 09/14/23 for a passenger side impact. Both passenger doors needed replacing. After about 1 week the repair shop contacted me and said there was an additional part needed to fix my car. The door frame was bent and it needed to be replaced. It took 1 month for them to find the part. I was fine with that as that was beyond their control. It has now been 1 1/2 months since the part was received by them and the completion is not done yet. I have been told for the last three weeks that my car would be in the painting process "next week". My insurance paid for a rental for 30 days. That was complete on 10/13/23. Since then, I have literally been a foot. I have no access to another vehicle (I am single, and have no family within 130 miles). I have been paying my co-worker to drive me to/from work. I rented a car for Thanksgiving, but cannot afford $80+ a day for a rental. The manager, ******, called me on 11/22/23 to tell me it would be in painting "next week" and I should have my car by the end of that week. I called on 11/28/23 and spoke to *****, and was informed that my car has in fact, not gone to painting yet. I let ***** know that I have work commitments (I work for First Financial Trust) starting next week that I will not be able to fulfill as I do not have a car. I also told him that I would have waited to give them my car, had they told me that they may not be able to get to it for three months. I insisted that he get me a car to drive by the end of this week. I would like help in making that happen because they keep putting me off. As I said before I have work commitments this time of year, that I will not be able to do and I will lose pay for some of those missed commitments.
