Better Business Bureau® (BBB®) serving Upstate South Carolina recently conducted a business investigation regarding Regenerative Health 360, an alternative medicine practitioner based in Spartanburg, SC. Regenerative Health 360 offers neuropathy and stem cell treatments to help patients holistically treat chronic pain. However, consumers report receiving little or no communication once they have paid for treatment.
The company currently has three unresolved complaints on file with BBB.org. One consumer reports paying $1,550 for a lost sample test. When she received mixed-up test results two months later, she asked for a refund due to fear of inaccuracy. The consumer alleges that the company has not returned attempts at communication nor the payment.
Another consumer reports unknowingly signing a loan for medical treatment and receiving little care in the office due to Covid-19. The consumer further reports receiving no return to her attempts at contact for three months. She ultimately requested her medical records to be transferred to her primary doctor, which she claims never occurred. This consumer is still making loan payments for unsatisfactory care.
To BBB’s knowledge, the business has not issued refunds nor returned communication to patients. BBB of the Upstate has contacted Regenerative Health 360, but the owner has not responded to consumer complaints.
BBB also visited the Greenville office of Regenerative Health 360. The building was empty, and the landlord informed BBB that Regenerative Health 360 moved out in the middle of the night.
BBB recommends the following tips before signing up for medical treatment:
- Google search the practice for reviews.
- Go to BBB.org, type in the business name, and review their BBB Business Review.
- Look at Google reviews on their Google My Business ad.
- Should the practice have social media, review what consumers are saying about the practice on the various platforms.
- Check out a business on BBB.org that adheres to BBB Accreditation Standards and BBB Standards for Trust.
