BBB New Hampshire: Elder Abuse Awareness presentation
Citizens gather at Dunbarton Public Library to learn about scams targeting older adults in New Hampshire. (Michelle Fitzgerald, BBB Serving New Hampshire)
On Tuesday, June 13th, members from the Consumer Protection Bureau of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office shared a presentation on Fraud Awareness. Participants learned about common frauds and scams, trends, and ways to protect their information.
Concord Regional Crimeline and Better Business Bureau Serving New Hampshire engaged consumers in conversations regarding their non-profit's available resources for consumers to learn about and report scams targeting older adults in New Hampshire.
The event was held at the Dunbarton Public Library. We'd also like to thank Hannaford's Supermarket in Concord for donating water and cookies for everyone to enjoy!
