The Better Business Bureau of Acadiana has revoked the BBB Accreditation of Atchafalaya Homes, LLC, located in Carencro.
BBB’s Accreditation Committee, which consists of members of the Board of Directors, took this action on June 28, 2023, after a review of the business for violating BBB’s Accreditation agreement.
The business did not answer a recent complaint filed and has failed to properly address a consistent pattern identified in 10 separate complaints received in the past 12 months concerning product issues, repair delays, incorrect/missing paperwork, and refund delays.
BBB sent a written notice identifying the pattern of complaint with a request for a business response in March 2023; however, BBB did not receive a response from the business that addresses the issues regarding the pattern of complaint. Furthermore, BBB has sent correspondence to Atchafalaya Homes, LLC regarding the most recent complaint and has not received a response.
The BBB is working with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies regarding consumers reporting they are receiving unsuitable or incorrect homes instead of the custom homes they believed they were purchasing.
