Better Business Bureau Serving Acadiana recognizes businesses committed to exceptional ethical standards for business practices and is proud to announce the 2023 finalists for its Torch Awards for Ethics.
The Torch Awards for Ethics highlights the practices these businesses employ to become deeply rooted and valuable business leaders among customers and our community.
The following awards will be presented to one of the three finalists in each category:
The “Outstanding New Business Award” will be awarded to a nominated business under three years old that has demonstrated success in customer service, marketing, advertising, communications, and ethical sales practices. The finalists are:
- Embark Fine Jewelry
- It’s Just a Cookie
- Sweet Envie
The “Customer Commitment Award” honors a business with an outstanding customer service program that exceeds customers' expectations. The finalists are:
- 5 Star Plumbing
- Café Lola
- The Chubby Unicorn
The “Good Neighbor Award” recognizes a business and its employees who play a significant role in the support of programs and services to the community. The finalists are:
- Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana
- McLain Companies
- Pure Barre
The “Torch Award for Ethics Award” honors organizations whose leaders focus on the four C’s and measure the Character of the organization’s leadership, if and how an authentic Culture is being fostered, the company’s transparent relationship with its Customers; and the impact the organization is making in the local Community.
This year’s prestigious award winner will be announced at the Torch Awards for Ethics celebration on November 2nd!
In celebrating these businesses and community servants that maintain high standards, the winners of the four (4) esteemed awards will be presented during the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics Program on November 2, 2023, at Le Pavillon in Parc Lafayette. The event is open to the public; tickets are $75 and can be purchased at bbb.org/acadiana.
The nominations were judged by a committee comprised of members of the 2023 BBB Board of Directors.
