Better Business Bureau® Serving Dallas, Lubbock, and Wichita Falls (BBB) is proud to announce this year’s recipients of its annual BBB Torch Awards for Ethics.
The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics embodies BBB’s mission of advancing marketplace trust and honors organizations whose leaders focus on the award criteria: Character, Culture, Customers, and Community. The criteria measure the Character of the organization’s leadership; if and how an authentic Culture is being fostered; the company’s transparent relationship with its Customers; and the impact the organization is making in the local Community.
Four exceptional businesses were selected to receive the prestigious 2023 Torch Awards for Ethics. Each of the twenty finalists was evaluated by a panel of judges for their commitment to the highest standards of leadership, character, and ethics.
New this year, BBB recognized one company with a BBB Spark Award. The Spark Award recognizes business owners 35 and under or business owners of any age operating for less than three years who demonstrate a higher level of character, generate an authentic culture about its mission, and connect with the community. These individuals are the future of a trusted marketplace.
The winner of the BBB Spark Award is:
Total Hail Restoration: Owner, Dean Muchmore, never intended to own his own business, but the opportunity presented itself and he saw a way to do things differently. Since opening his hail damage repair business, the philosophy is “We always choose the best repairs for our customers without exception.” A welcome letter provided to every employee on day one outlines the fact that the customer is the #1 priority with a focus on trust and quality.
